Gossip Girl Venessa Makeup Breakdown

Ritika sent me these photos loooong back for teh breakdown. :shame:  So reteeka especially for you. :))

Face : If you are on the fairer side, apply foundation both of face and rest of your body (the uncovered parts)  may be a shade darker than your skintone. If you have medium to dusky skintone, go for the same shade of you foundation as your skintone. A very strong cotouring of face has been done especially on the sides of the nose, the hollows of the cheeks, on the sides of the temples and below the jawline. Use a matte bronzer to do so. For the sides fo the nose use a smaller fluffy eyeshadow brush and for the rest ot the face , you may use an angled blusher brush. Suggestion : Beyu Bronzer , MAC Bronzing Powder, Colorbar Blush in Plum brown.

Cheeks : A peachy coraly blush is used on the apple of the cheeks. Suggestions – Maybelline mouse blush peach satin, lotus blush in peach

Brows are filled with a medium brown eyeshadow and brushed to give a softer look. you may mix the medium and darker brown eyeshadow shades from the Maybelline Chai latte Quad and use that.

Eyes :  A Soft wash of gold eyeshadow is applied all over the lid and also in the inner corner of eye. A medium taupe brown eyeshadow is applied in the socket of the eye and blended upwards. Same brown eye shadow is applied on the outer third of the lower lash line. Apply brown eyeliner on the upper lash line , a skin tone or white eyeliner on the waterline and finish off with mascara mostly on the top lashes. Suggestion. Faces Eyeshadow trio Beechwood, Maybelline Vivid and Smooth liner in white, MAC Chromagraphic pencil.

Lips:  Line your lips witha medium brown lip pencil and blend it with a lipbrush inwards. Finish off with an orangey lip balm. Suggestion : Maybelline Lip Pencil in Choco Pop, Estee Lauder Lip Pencil Spice Writer, Maybelline lip Balm Mandarin

    2. also if used rightly she was yale material but gg mein to bus PUTTING down hi chalta hain at one point i just found it to be wayyy too much.they struggle with the plot at times.just shift from sex and love life of one lady charcter to the other.it gets awkward after a while :toothygrin:

          The most swept partners would have to be Nate and serena,I think they have almost dated everyone 😀
          Oh and season three’s ending is AWESOME ! I was bitting my nails while waiting for the new season to start

  12. Hate the character but love the makeup. It kind of compensates for her sometimes over-the-top boho-crazed look. :silly: I’d love a similar one on Blair’s makeup look (after season 1 only though – in the first few episodes, she looked like a fake China doll :stars: ).

      1. Haha, everyone watches GG because it’s fun. It has sleaze, drugs, teenagers changing partners like their designer clothes, and more drama and conspiracies than our saas-bahu soaps – what else do we want in a good entertaining show? 😛 :woot:

    I so want to try this look ! :makeup: and do watch gossip girl,its really fun to watch 😀

    Oh and I also hate character but I just loveddd her make up in this one . She used to be such a good character in the first season,the writers just messed it arround. Later on,it was like ‘kuch bhi’ ,if anything bad was there she just had to be there . Anyways ,they are putting her and Taylor Momsen off the show now :wilt:
