My Experience with Gucci Golden Glow bronzer Indian Sand 030
I don’t even know what took me so long to review this bronzer because I use it so much that it is already forming a dent in it. 😐 Anyway, I adore Gucci makeup. In luxury makeup range, they have done a real fine job with their products.
This Gucci bronzer comes packed in this gorgeous glossy black round packaging. It is exactly the same packaging as their finishing powder. The round compact has a magnetic closure. The inside of the cap holds a lovely mirror. The product compartment is divided in two parts. The upper part holds the product and the bottom holds the lovely round black brush. The cap has Gucci’s double “G’ logo embossed in gold and the powder has a Gucci’d pattern embossed all over. And the the wide ‘moon’ brush has the brand’s name embossed on it. Absolutely gorgeous and thoughtful packaging.
The shade Indian sand is a warm brown color. It has slight orangey undertone to it but it is not really orangey or muddy. It has very fine golden micro shimmers pressed all around but upon application they barely ever show. The golden micro shimmers only add a bit of iridescent to the powder so that it does not look flat or muddy. The bronzer is really soft and blends beautifully on the skin. The texture is almost creamy powdery. This is more of a bronzer that you would want to use to add a bit of warmth to your skin to get that lovely ‘golden girl’ glow. Although we Indians have such beautiful skintone already that we have to make least effort in getting that bronzed glow. Still products like this help on enhancing our features even more. I always use it in combination with a contouring powder and it adds a lovely dimension to the look.
The staying powder is around 6-7 hours on me and it does not go patchy during the day. The powder does not accentuate the pores. There is no noticeable scent or fragrance to it. Another star product from Gucci that I absolutely enjoy using. It is available in 4 shades.
Gucci makeup is more readily available now at Gucci outlets as compared to when it was launched back in 2014. We don’t have their makeup range here in India yet. Wish it were though….
Definitley keep a look for it while travelling. It’s a pure gem. 🙂
