My Experience with Himalaya Tan Removal Orange Face Wash:
I have combination skin and my T-zone gets super oily in this humid weather. I spotted this new face wash from Himalaya at a local beauty store and the “tan removal” tagline attracted me since I have been travelling a lot over the last two months and my skin has tanned slightly. Hence, I decided to give this product a shot and after using this face wash for a couple of weeks, here comes the review for you all.
This face wash comes in a regular Himalaya packaging, i.e. a simple clear plastic squeeze tube with a dark green flip top cap. The cap shuts nicely and makes the tube fit for travel purposes. The tube is filled with orange-ish liquid. The tube has clear labels at the front and back, which bears the entire product-related information. The clear tube helps to see keep an eye on the amount of product left inside. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.
The face wash is orange in color. It does not contain any exfoliating beads or anything. It is a simple gel-based facial cleanser. It has a typical orange smell which feels fresh and natural. It does not have that chemical kind of citrus fragrance. The smell is not too strong and fades away within a few minutes. The smell is so refreshing that it instantly revives my dull mood in these harsh summers. The consistency of the face wash is slightly on the runnier side. It is a gel-like liquid, so the product spills easily. The consistency is very similar to Himalaya Neem Face Wash.
The face wash spreads nicely on the face and lathers so well. A coin-sized amount is required to cleanse oily face. The face wash cleanses my skin nicely and removes every bit of oil and dirt. It leaves my skin clear and fresh. It easily removes a light makeup too. Overall, I find it great in terms of cleansing. The face wash helps to control excess oil secretion and keeps my skin oil free for at least 3 hours post washing. It retains enough moisture and prevents my skin from drying.
My skin does not feel dry or stretchy post washing even if I skip my moisturizer. It suits my sensitive and acne-prone skin perfectly well and prevents it from breakouts. Since, this one claims tan removal, it helped to lighten tan up to a great extent. Also, it soothes skin and makes it feel softer and smoother. This is what I expect face wash to do. Overall, I am satisfied with the results of this face wash.
