My Experience with Huda Beauty Gossip Gurl Liquid Matte Lipstick:
Huda beauty is known for their eye catching packaging, especially their cute outer lipstick box is just wow. The lipstick itself comes in a sleek, square frosted tube with a black cap. The shade name is present at the bottom of the tube. The applicator is a standard doe-foot applicator that helps well in lipstick application. The packaging is very travel-friendly and lightweight. The lipstick tube itself looks very sophisticated, with the frosted tube and the Huda beauty logo printed on the top.
These lipsticks have a fake sweet vanilla cake scent to them. Huda has a huge variety of shades in her liquid lipstick collection.
The shade “Gossip Gurl” is a everyday light rosey pink shade. This particular shade is a bit lighter and may not work for deep complexions.
The formula of this lipstick is very good. It has a liquid consistency and applies quite thin on the lips. The pigmentation of the lipstick is pretty good and gives full on color in one swipe. The particular shade applies a bit patchy and may need more than one coat to get full opacity. The lipstick is very lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. The lipstick doesn’t bleed or feather and also, it dries down fairly fast.
The staying power of this is quite average. They stay for 4 to 5 hours, and then they start to fade. They start to fade fast with eating and drinking, and I would say that these are not that long-lasting on the lips.
