Hi girls,
I am very excited about reviewing my first orange blush ever. I went crazy after watching the swatches of NARS Taj Mahal Blush on dark skin. But, it is way too expensive and also not easily available in my city. So, I opted for a close dupe from Inglot. Read the review to know if I was impressed with this product.
Price: 650 INR for 6g
Product Description: Classic face blush that adds healthy colour to one’s face. Rich formula allows smooth application and buildable colour. The unique Freedom System allows you to mix and match products and colours to make your own custom designed palette of almost any size. All Freedom System palettes are eco-friendly and reusable. Products may be purchased with the palettes or individually.
My Experience with Inglot Freedom System Face Blush 45:
Packaging: The product comes in a rectangular silver metallic pan that can be stored in the outer paper carton or can be attached in a palette. I have thrown away the carton and kept it in a zip-lock pouch now. If you have the carton, you can carry it in your makeup pouch too. The key ingredients are mentioned on the carton.
Texture and Pigmentation: This is a complete matte powder which is pretty smooth, lightweight and silky. It has no chalky or dry feel. It never clogs the pores or highlights any imperfections. When applied properly, it gives a very natural finish. The pigmentation is also pretty decent. It is buildable and you can apply it depending on the look you want to create. I generally mix it with the copper blush from Kryolan to get the shimmery orange glow like the NARS Taj Mahal.
Colour: The colour is a bright and beautiful orange shade that looks wonderful on dusky, brown skin. It may look a little OTT on fairer skin tones. If you are looking for a coral shade, this may not be the right pick. It can be easily used to create Indian wedding looks too.
Staying Power: This stays in place for pretty long and is not affected by sweat. It fades after 7-8 hours, leaving an even glow. I love blushes that do not become muddy or patchy due to oil and humidity. This blush fulfills my requirement and, thus, is ideal to be used in this humid climate.
