Maybelline V-Face Peach Blush Contour Review

Product Purchased By IMBB

I got the recently-launched V-face range of contouring products from Maybelline. I picked the blush in the shade “Peach” as it’s the color that would go well with almost everything. I felt really happy that some decent contouring products are finally here at such affordable prices.

My Experience with Maybelline V-Face Peach Blush Contour:

Packaging: The blush contour comes in a sleek plastic case. It has three shades in three separate sections in the form of a ‘V’. The shade on the left is the highlight shade followed by the blush and the contour shades. It also comes with an angled brush which is pretty useful when touch-ups are needed. The details are mentioned on the reverse of the case. I wish it also came with a little mirror.

Shades: The primary shade, which is the blush is a peachy pink color which gives me a nice wash of color on my cheeks. It looks pretty and goes with almost every look. The lighter shade is the highlighter shade, which has some silver shimmers. It gives a decent highlight on the high points. The contour shade is light brown, which is also pretty decent, but not that pigmented.

Texture and Pigmentation:  The textures of all the three shades are super smooth and fine. They are finely milled and not powdery at all. It goes smoothly on skin without feeling chalky. The pigmentation of the blush is good and I needn’t go more than twice to get a decent payoff. The pigmentation of the contour and the highlight could have been better though. The contour doesn’t show up even on my fair skin.

Lasting Power:  The blush lasts for 3+ hours after which it creases. If it’s a sweaty day, then the lasting power is lesser. Otherwise, it is pretty decent for a powder blush. My only problem is that the contour and highlight shades are not that great when used alone. All in all, it is a pretty decent product which offers 3 products in one!

  • Travel-friendly.
  • Comes with a decent brush.

  • A 3-in-1 product.
  • Highlight shade gives a nice glow.
  • Decent pigmentation.
  • Does not feel powdery.
  • Goes smooth on skin.
  • Decent staying power.
  • Priced well.

Cons of Maybelline V-Face Peach Blush Contour:

  • The highlighter and contour shades have lower color payoff.
  • No mirror.
  • Staying power is lowered on hot days.

  1. The review couldn’t have come at a better time for me…I was thinking about buying this palette in this shade…but I have wheatish skin tone…Do you think it ll suit me?

    1. The blush would definitely give you flushed cheeks and will look pretty, but i am not sure about the contour shade showing up. Give it a try 🙂
