Today, I will be reviewing an eye cream from Innisfree. Enriched with the extracts of marine plants, this eye cream claims to have anti-aging properties. I love trying new products from Innisfree as they almost never fail to amaze me. To know more about this product and how it fared for me, read on further:

My Experience with Innisfree Eco Science Eye Cream:
I have already tried a couple of eye creams from Innisfree and had high hopes for this one as well. I recently ran out of my Orchid Eye Cream and decided to try out some new ones. This eye cream is from the “Eco Science” range, popular for its anti-aging and regenerative properties. It contains pure marine plant extracts from Jeju Island, known for its pristine wildlife. It provides abundant nutrients into the skin to revitalise it.
Like all eye creams from Innisfree, this one is packed into a cardboard box that has all the information provided on it using soy ink. The box gives all the information – about the range, directions for usage, price and ingredients. The product is housed in a small pump bottle. The body of the bottle is off white in colour, and the cap is deep blue. The body of the bottle also has a seaweed design embossed onto it, which looks very classy. Overall, the packaging is no fuss and chic. It is travel friendly as well.
The actual eye cream is translucent white in colour. It has a silky, gel texture. It is quite heavy, thus not a lot of amount is needed for each eye. If applied in excess, it makes the face a bit greasy. The scent of this eye cream is not very strong; it has a slight spicy fragrance with a hint of fresh citrusy scent.
Coming to the actual application, I like to apply this right after cleansing and toning so that enough time is given to it to get completely soak in.
In the mornings, half a pump is enough for both eyes. I distribute the product between my two ring fingers and apply it in a patting motion on the orbital bone. In the evenings, I take one full pump and use that for both eyes. It takes time to sink into the skin, so I keep patting it down after every step of my skincare routine. It does leave a slight sheen underneath my eyes, which I generally fix with a compact powder or a mattifying mist. I try to avoid applying it too close to my cheeks as I have open pores or it might get clogged.
This eye cream is very heavy; it moisturizes under eyes really well, leaving it soft and nourished. My eyes look less fatigued in the morning. Over time, it has helped to combat the fine lines around my eyes. My dark circles have become slightly less visible. Despite its greasy nature, I like the effect of this eye cream. It upholds its claim of being an anti-aging eye cream.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Innisfree Eco Science Eye Cream?
I would probably repurchase this for the dry winter months as I feel it is best suited for that period. I would recommend this to people with dry and dehydrated skin. For oily or combination skin, I would recommend you try it at the store.
