Skin Type: Combination
Today, I will be reviewing Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream. The skin around my eyes tends to get dry easily. The dryness makes fine lines more visible, and so an eye cream for me is a must. I was looking for a thicker, nourishing eye cream. Moreover, due to the pollution in Delhi right now, my eyes look fatigued all the time. I decided to purchase this product for the winter months. Read on to find out how this eye cream worked for me.
INR 2000 for 30 ml.
The meticulously extracted active ingredient from Jeju orchids delivers exceptional sleekness to dry skin with its outstanding antioxidants. An anti-aging cream formulated with the vitality of Jeju orchids to tone and smooth the thin, sensitive eye areas. The Jeju orchids are packed with antioxidants providing your skin with neutralizing agents that reverse damage caused by the sun, pollution, and other free radicals.
How To Use:
Apply a small amount of cream around your eyes. Gently pat the cream for the best absorption.
My Experience with Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream:
This eye cream comes in a small lilac coloured tub, with a dark violet screw on cap. There is no spatula provided, which is a bit disappointing for the price that is paid for the product.
The eye cream is extremely thick and creamy. It is pale white in colour. The scent is slightly floral, but not too overpowering.
This is the first time that I am trying an anti-aging eye cream. Previously, I only dealt with dark under-eye circles, but the appearance of fine lines prompted me to buy this eye cream. Since it claims to be a total care eye cream, I thought this would be perfect for me. I also wear contact lenses, which further tends to dry out my skin and make it itchy. At first, I thought applying this product will be a pain because it is so thick and creamy. On the contrary, the product melts into the skin quite easily. Unlike other eye creams, it does not leave a greasy residue. It gets absorbed very quickly into the skin.
I take out a small amount on to my ring finger. I warm the product between my fingers and gently pat it into my skin. After a minute or so of patting it in, it leaves the skin around my eyes firm and moisturized. It does not irritate my eyes. I really like the pretty purple colour combination, but I’m not a big fan of the tub packaging. For the price that I’m paying, I would expect a tube packaging, or the addition of a spatula for taking the product out.
Coming to the actual results of the product, I used this product for a good month and a half. The greatest benefit of this eye cream is that it is very moisturizing and nourishing. Over time, my fine lines have become a bit less visible. On days when I might skip the eye cream, my eyes become dry and wrinkly. It does treat puffiness, as it firms the skin, but I am yet to see a major change in my dark under eye circles. As for under eye makeup application, this will not make your foundation or concealer slip around, which is a plus.
Pros of Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream:

- Super moisturizing and nourishing.
- Firms the eye area.

Cons of Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream:
