Today I’ll be reviewing a chubby lipstick crayon from Jordana. Let’s get started!

Product Description:

My Experience with Jordana 17 Driftwood Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick crayon comes in a chubby wooden pencil form. They are colour coded and hence are easily located in a stash. The cap is transparent and fits a bit loose. Hence, this pencil cannot be thrown into a bag just like that. The body has golden details printed on it and you have to sharpen up the pencil. A lot of product wastage occurs due to that. Anyway, the packaging is nice and handy.
Colour: As the shade name says, it’s very true to colour. ‘Driftwood’ is a nice brown colour. Although it looks glossy, it is matte on the lips. I don’t like brown on my lips, so I use it as an eye pencil.This is a good option as a base eye shadow too. It is highly pigmented and one stroke is enough for the dark, brown colour to show up.
Texture: I really did not think that this pencil would have such a smooth and creamy texture. While that is a big plus for me, the flipside is that since it is that creamy, it tends to smudge a lot when used as an eye pencil. I really enjoy this on my waterline because it doesn’t smudge that bad. It doesn’t smudge on my lips, because it goes matte magically. But it does fade eventually.
Staying power: As a lipstick, it stays for slightly longer than as used as an eye pencil. The staying power when used as a lipstick is about 5-6 hours with fading and as an eye pencil is 4 hours but with smudging.
Pros of Jordana 17 Driftwood Lipstick:

Cons of Jordana 17 Driftwood Lipstick:
• Smudges/fades.
• Not easily available.

Would I Recommend Jordana 17 Driftwood Lipstick?
I like it as an eye pencil, but I don’t find myself reaching for it too often because I love my Faces Magnetic Kajal a lot more than this one. I recommend this for brown lipstick lovers though.
