Faces Magneteyes Kajal Review

Hello Lovely people,

Thanks to my trip home, I was missing in action, but I was missing writing here badly, so, here I am with a new launch from the house of Faces – the Magneteyes Kajal. Not that I do not already have enough of kajal in my stash, but I had to pick this up when the SA was just putting them up on the shelf. Yeah, it is that fresh, they did not even have the testers.

My Experience with Faces Magneteyes Kajal:

Kajal is something that I do not leave my home without and considering the affordable price tag, I decided to pick this up. The packaging is cool considering you do not get to see red-bodied kajals that often. It is in a twist-up pencil form and thankfully it twists back. The plastic body is sturdy enough with proper cap which shuts with a click.

The texture of the kajal is beautiful I would say.  It is smooth and glides well on the lid and on the waterline, but it tends to slip if you have watery eyes. It does not tug or pull the skin at all and goes on like a creamy liner. Although smooth, the liner does not melt or break and maintains the consistency.

The pigmentation is superb and is definitely darker than Maybelline colossal. On the waterline, only one swipe would give desired results. If you want, you can go on and build on the intensity. One word of caution though, as the kajal is smooth and creamy, multiple swipes might cause a bit of discomfort.

The staying power is average, maximum of 4-5 hours, but if you smudge it a bit and reapply at a certain interval, the blackness remains intact and does not smudge like crazy. On the lids while applying as a liner, I would advice to let it settle for a while so that the creaminess does not make the liner go all smudgy.

Considering the price tag and the blackness of the kajal, I would give it a thumbs up, you can definitely give it a try, more if you like a bit smudgy smokey kohl look.

Pros of Faces Magneteyes Kajal:

  • Affordable.
  • Very black.
  • Twist-up style.
  • Smooth.
  • Creamy.
  • No fragrance.
  • No irritation.

Cons of Faces Magneteyes Kajal:

  • Smudges a bit initially.
  • Staying power.

IMBB Rating:

4/5, (mainly because I like a bit smudged look and I reapply after few hours).

Would I Repurchase Faces Magneteyes Kajal?

Maybe, if I am able to finish off others in my stash.

Do I Recommend Faces Magneteyes Kajal?

You can try this if you are a dark black kajal lover.

  1. Hi, i got the pencil type of Faces kajal, however i am having difficulty with sharpening the pencil, i have tried 2 different type of sharpeners, unfortunately the tip gets broken before i could finish sharpening the pencil, and generally sharpening is difficult due to the outer layer of the pencil seems to be like plastic version, is there any special sharpeners for this kind of kajol pencils with plastic outer body…
