My Experience with Jurlique Purely Age Defying Firming Face Oil
During my trip to Australia, if there was one brand that I really wanted to try it was Jurlique. From landing at the airport to any beauty shop that I visited, this brand was there. And what an amazing discovery of 2016 this brand turned out to be. I love to use new skincare products especially when I am back from my travels. Because that is the time my skin needs extra pampering and the products that work really show their magic. This oil is one of those products.

Jurlique Purely Age Defying Firming Face Oil comes packed in this dark glass bottle. It comes with a dropper.I love the packaging but it is an absolute no when it comes to travelling. You only need one of two drops of this oil to cover the whole face and neck. You take 2-3 drops and just press it on your skin.
First the ingredient list is a power house. Safflower oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Macadamia Seed Oil , Rosa Canina Oil, Avocado Oil, Black Currant Seed Oil ,Cacao Seed Butter, Licorice root extract…. It is almost all natural and is free of any sulphates and parabens. This also contains retinol, which is a powerful anti ageing ingredient and something that you should start using if you have crossed your mid twenties. Beta-carotene is a powerful anti oxidant and can help reduce the effects of sun damage.
This oil has a light herbaly fragrance. Not the most pleasant one but once you start using it, you get used to it. This oil has brought such a lovely change in my skin. Within a week of using it, my skin looked clearer, toned and plumped. I use it every night. Sometimes when my skin is really dehydrated, I use it before applying makeup. I don’t know what it does but it totally adds that life to the skin and makes your skin look as if you have taken so much care of it. It adds that boost of moisture to the skin.
I would totally vouch for the “environmental aggressors” claim. When you travel for good 20-22 days in various climates, and through various modes, your skin takes a toll because of changing conditions. I came back with a really bad skin and it was crying for help. This oil literally got back my skin in a good condition and has only made it better over a period of time.
This oil is very light-weight and gets absorbed in the skin easily without leaving any greasiness or heaviness behind. It also does not clog the pores. It does not say that it is good for any skin types but I believe people with all skin types can use this one.
I have no words on how impressed I am with the whole skincare range from Jurlique. They are natural products and the formulation is done in a way that they show results quite fast.
It would take me long to finish this oil. But if I have to repurchase this, I definitley would.
PS : I use face oil after applying a toner and before applying a moisturiser. Sometimes I just use this on its own at night and go off to sleep. I wake up with the soft and clear skin. 🙂
