Khadi Fresh Lemon WithNeem&Tulsi Extract Facewash-Review
Last time when I bought Khadi almond scrub, I added a khadi face wash also in my cart to reach the free shipping limit online. Face wash is something we need always, and for my oily skin any face wash which have lemon, neem and tulsi in it looks very tempting. So this is why I bought this face wash.
Price:
Rs. 135 for 210ml.
Product claims:
An Aloevera and tulsi with glycerin based face wash which cleanses the skin and gives nourishment to the skin.
My experience with Khadi Face Wash Fresh Lemon with Neem&Tulsi Extract:
I have oily skin, and during monsoons, because of humidity it feels greasier and I end up washing my face several times a day. As we know that Lemon regulates the oiliness of skin and neem and tulsi work wonders for skin, so after seeing the ingredients I got really impressed by this face wash and bought this. But when I used it, it did not work as I thought it will. It lathered well, but after washing, it did not give me an oil- free feel. My skin did not dry out, as it has glycerin in it, my skin was clean and moisturized, but I would have liked it to be oil-free too. So it cannot be called a face wash “for oily skin” .
It comes in regular “khadi type packaging”, transparent plastic bottle with black flip-cap. This is a gel based face wash, green in color with very herbal and detergent kind smell, which I did not like.
Till now, it is doing fine on my skin but does nothing about oil control, presence of lemon made me believe it will work for oil-control. And it has neem and tulsi, but I don’t feel it will be effective for acne-prone skin. It is an average face wash which anyone can use, nothing special about it.
Pros of Khadi Face Wash Fresh Lemon with Neem&Tulsi Extract:
• Has very promising ingredients like lemon, neem, tulsi.
• Lathers well.
• Inexpensive.
• Cleans face without drying out the skin.
• Has glycerin which moisturizes the skin.
Cons of Khadi Face Wash Fresh Lemon with Neem&Tulsi Extract:
• Does nothing for oil-control.
• Not efficient for controlling acne.
• Not sturdy packing.
• Smells like detergent.
Final Verdict on Khadi Face Wash Fresh Lemon with Neem&Tulsi Extract:
This one is very average face wash; it has fewer chemicals and does not dry out skin, so people looking for an herbal face wash can try this out. Otherwise does nothing specific for skin.
IMBB Rating:
2/5
