Hello everyone, As promised, here is the review of Kosmea Rose Hip Oil. Though I am not someone who prefers oil for the face, but considering the recent hype regarding rose hip oil, I had to give this a try. Coming from a renowned brand, I picked this up without a second thought.
Rs. 275/- for 10 ml.
My Experience with Kosmea Rosehip Oil:
The packaging is a small glass bottle with a medicinal dropper system to take the product out. The outer paper carton has all the required information. The bottle is tiny and I have travelled with it without spilling anything. I have kept the outer paper carton to avoid any damage to the bottle while travelling with it. There are definitely bigger sizes available, but I wanted to only try this out first, so I bought the trial size bottle.
The oil looks and also feels and smells like pickle oil, I know it sounds weird, but that is how it is! The smell stays for about 10 minutes and then vanishes completely. It is very thick, but surprisingly, spreads well on the skin. Only 2-3 drops are enough for the whole face. Once massaged into the skin, there is absolutely no oily feeling on the skin. The skin feels velvety smooth to touch. I generally apply this at night and the next morning, I wake up to baby soft skin. It has been a while since my skin has felt so good. It has never broken me out, rather has stopped further acne at that time” of the month.
I am now repenting not picking up the bigger bottle as I have not seen rose hip oil in India. My sister also got one for herself and it has suited her skin type as well. I am so surprised the Indian markets are not getting this! (sob sob)
One word of advice to all those who have access to pure, unadulterated rose hip oil, do give it a try, you will love it for sure. It has worked on both oily and combination skin type, so dry skin will definitely love it. There is nothing negative I can say about this, so go, get it (and send me some as well)!
Pros of Kosmea Rosehip Oil:
- Smooth skin.
- A little goes a long way.
- Visibly improves texture of the skin.
