I am going to review a fabulous 8 colour blush Palette from Kryolan. This is my personal favourite as it has shades for all skin tones and if there is any shade that doesn’t go with your skin as a blush, you can use it as an eyeshadow. All shades are very fresh and gives a very natural look.

Professional Blusher is ideal for professional use. Blusher is a creamy pressed powder for dry application. The exceptional formulation enhances a gentle application and produces a pleasantly soft feeling on the skin. The micronized pigments offer the possibility of applying this preparation not only with fashionable transparency, but also with vivid color emphasis. The palette can be individually refilled with Blusher Refill.
Ingredients:
Talc, Dimethylimidazolidinone Rice Starch, Mica, Aqua (Water), Magnesium Myristate, Propylene Glycol, Octyldodecanol, Isopropyl Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-150, Ricinus Communis Oil (Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil), Silica, Cetearyl Alcohol, Quaternium-26, Methylparaben, Glyceryl Ricinoleate, Ethylparaben, Cera Carnauba (Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax), Candelilla Cera (Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax), Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Propylparaben, Cera Microcristallina (Microcrystalline Wax), Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Cetyl Alcohol, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hexyl Cinnamal, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Eugenol, Amyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Citronellol, Parfum (Fragrance) and other colour specific ingredients.
Packaging: The palette is silver in colour, much improved from the old Kryolan palettes which had plastic inserts. Comes in a normal thin cardboard Kryolan packaging. The palette is sleek and fits vanity bags easily. It has a complimentary natural fiber brush with it which you can use for highlighting or applying eyeshadows as it is slender in shape.
Shades: Shading Red, T1, R9, 075, Red Wood, 665 G, Youth Red and R6
Shading Red, T1 and 075 belong to the peach family and suits beautifully to all skin types from light to dark. These are perfect shades for Indian dusky skin as they give a very natural hue.
R9 is bright light pink shade, more suited for lighter skin tones.
Youth Red and R6 are bright and dark pinks which can be used more for party makeups and by brides.
665 G is a very neutral orangish brown. It definitely does not look like the brightest shade on the palette, but it is definitely one of the most natural looking shades for Indian skin tones.
Red Wood belongs to the burgundy family and it can be better used for eyes than as blush.
My Experience with Kryolan Blusher Dry Rouge Trockenrogue 8 Color Palette – EC 1:
The colours are all beautiful mattes. The powder is fine and does not look patchy on application. Two strokes are sufficient for a visible blush application. The colours are well pigmented. Though the palette is usually purchased by Professional artists, I suggest you can buy it for personal use as well and you will never run out of blushers. You can experiment with a lot of shades, use more than one shades to give a balanced contoured look. The shades can also be used as eyeshadows. They give a very fresh look to the eyes. The peach shades colour-correct the eyes and give them an instant pop.
You can carry this palette while you are travelling and need not keep separate single blushers, eyeshadows, etc. Colour refills are available at Kryolan stores if you exhaust your favourite colour. The shade lasts easily for 5-6 hours. I highly recommend that you apply it darker initially as the colour tones down with time. Kryolan powder products usually last much longer than their mentioned expiry(I am not suggesting that you can use expired products but that the product may last longer than you think!)

- Availability(Although Kryolan website has begun to offer online shopping).
- Unattractive packaging.
- Bigger in size as compared to carrying individual blushers.

Would I Recommend Kryolan Blusher Dry Rouge Trockenrogue 8 Color Palette – EC 1?
Definitely Yes. It is a one time investment. The palette lasts for a long time. The effective price per blush is equal or less than brands like Maybelline, Loreal, Revlon, etc. and it offers a better finish and long stay time. It is great value for money.
