Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick Review, Photos, Swatches
Lakme has launched 10 shades of Lakme Enrich Satin Lipsticks with Gypsy Collection. I have got 9. All the shades are variants of brown .
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 129 is a pink brown colour.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 425 is a rust brown shade.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 426 is very similar to 425. 426 just has a golden shimmer to it.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 663 is a roasted brown kinda shade. It would be a MLBB shade for a women with dusky complexion.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 130 is a maroon colour lipstick.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 664 is a terracotta brown shade with golden sheen to it.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 424 is a rust brown shade. It has a little orangey touch to it.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 266 is two sahdes darker to 129. They pretty much look brother and sister.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick 531 is a muddy brown colour. I liked this shade.

My Experience with Lakme Enrich Satin Lipsticks:
- I quite liked the texture of these lipsticks. They are creamy and glide on your lips like butter. :yes:
- Enrich lipsticks didn’t settle in my fine lines and they applied quite well.
- I have tried most of these lipsticks one by one for hours and none of them has dried my lips.
- The staying power of lipstick is not that great. Some of the lighter shades didn’t stay on my lips even for two hours. The darker shades still went on for good 3- 3 and a half hours. After having some coffee or snacks, the lighter shades vanished from my lips. The darker shades still had a stain of colour on my lips.
- The enrich lipsticks have a bubble gummy flavour.
- The packaging is the regular Lakme – full purple casing. It gets difficult to store such look alikes.:| Or you remember the shades and numbers.
- The shades are all variants of brown. It’s like brown + pink , brown + orange , brown + white etc. I wish there were pinks, mauves and reds as well. Like what they did with their glosses. 🙁
- The lipsticks have a glossy look. It looks quite nice.
Overall , you may pick one or two shades from the collection. As a collection I feel it’s not colourful. There are absolutely no shade for teenagers or even young women. Not impressed.
If I have to compare these lipsticks among all the Lakme lipsticks I have used so far, I think the texture has definitely improved.

Hi rati..gud u reviewed this..i was planning to buy one lipstick from this collection but now :-/ i think i wud go for gloss..as gloss r looking better and have more color varients…thanx…4 saving me… :hugright:
Anshu, if you want some brown lipstick may be you could check it out. I also feel their gloss collection is much better. Atleast there are pretty shades to choose from.
And the packaging serioulsy needs to be changed.. :sweat: :sweat:
ya u r rgt rati….generally i prefer buying browns only but this time i was planning to go for sum change…but all the lippies r brown’s variation.. 😛 so i may choose lip gloss in that case..golss looking lil tempting :drool: ..and seriously they need to do sum change in packaging..it is same old packing…

That’s the best that they have every come up with. Starting from blushes, lip colours, eye artist, tint. It was such a fantastic collection. I think they must bring Anamika Khanna back, till today women are buying the cheek tints and eye artist from that collection. 🙂

i m in love with shade no. 129… but tell me Lakme lipsticks contain lead? I bought two pieces 129 and now i m worried after testing with my gold ring.. the lipstick colour turned slightly black.. :-(( 🙁

But it just blends in for me. It doesn’t give it a healthy color or something
