Lakme Eyebrow Pencil Review
I do not know if you ladies have ever given any notice to some women who just seem like they have the most perfect eyebrows in the world . These women look flawless because of their well shaped and groomed eyebrows . Although majority of us do get our eyebrows done by a beautician there are still very few people that can do it themselves . You know the routine , get your eyebrows done and mostly fell like it’s too thin or to broad or not done correctly but if you are lucky unlike me to have a stationary beautician who does your eyebrows your set .
If you do get your eyebrows done correctly , sometimes you do feel the need for them being a little darker because they seem better that way . That is where your lovely eyebrow pencil comes in .
I started using eyebrow pencil in 2008 when I started college and after one month I stopped because I just felt I needed to grow my eyebrows fully. My beautician always seemed to leave the salon and go to their villages or just leave in general . so I stopped getting my eyebrows done because they always messed it up :/.
But I still kept my eyebrow pencil with me which I used when I felt like it . I bought a new eyebrow pencil because I got my eyebrows done after like 6 months . I like my eyebrows naturally shaped because the unnatural arch makes me look like a Chihuahua :/ seriously .
I use the lakme eyebrow pencil which is prices normally at Rs 35
The eyebrow pencil comes sealed with a plastic sealing which is very firm and you have to figure out how to open it if you are new to it .
See those two lines you have to tear from there and you will end up having something like this . The pencil has a pretty pearl pink color plastic cap which is okay , it does slide off many times , it does its job but if you loose the cap the pencil gets all dirty and ewy :). The pencil is about 4 to 5 cm long . it can easily last you one or two months depending on your use . I use mine on special occasions 😀 so it stays with me for years … until I misplace it , I have to buy a new one after that 😛
As you can see the pencil seems very dark , its not very creamy but its good considering the fact that a creamy eyebrow pencil can get messed up easy , if you swipe your face or anything , in my experience , when you do swipe your face the pencil does lighten but you can never see it getting messed up on your face .
I don’t know how that happens but it does.
This is a swatch of the pencil , it seems very dark when you see the pencil but when you swatch it , its very light and I like that because when I apply it , it doesn’t seem made up , if I want a darker shade , I just swipe it more . 🙂
The above picture is without and the below one I put the eyebrow pencil on the arch of the eyebrow , I know its not a very dramatic difference but I bought the pencil for times when the parlor ladies messes it up and lets gapes and stuff or makes it crooked and I have a wedding to attend 😛 . I do like my eyebrows natural and not thin so I try not to get them done a lot because some ladies mess it up and for the times they do mess it up , I have my Lovely Lakme eyebrow pencil 😀
