Lakme Lip Love Lip Care in Vanilla Review
Hello cutie pies…!!

How are you all? Today, I bring you Vanilla flavor from the newly-launched Lakme Lip Love Lip Care range. I keep alternating between these lip balms and Maybelline Baby lips and my lips do not feel dry or chapped at all even in this cold winter.
Product Description:

- Creamy inner core that offers superior moisturisation for soft and supple lips.
- Outer swirl of color that gives your lips a lovely tint.
- SPF 15 protects your lips from sun damage.
- Super moisturising lip balms available in four variants – Cherry, Vanilla, Strawberry and Peach
How to apply:

My take on Lakme Lip Love Lip Care in Vanilla.
This lip balm comes in a cream colored twist-up cap with a plastic cap. I love how the brand name is written with black font on the cap. It is just so eye-catching and chic. This time I was careful of not taking out the shade name written on the bottom.
I have not tried many vanilla lip balms in past, but my mother insisted me to pick it up. The lip balm has a moisturizing balmy core in between with a cream colored tint on the outside. The lip balm goes completely nude on lips. As such, we can’t expect much pigmentation from the shade because the name itself is Vanilla.
The lip balm gives a slightly creamy tint on the lips, which would not suit ladies with dark lips. Just one swipe is needed to get moisturized lips. It has a very nice vanilla-like smell which stays on only for a little time after application. It also has the added benefit of SPF 15, so you don’t need to worry about lips getting dark when out in the sun.
The lip balm keeps the lips moisturized for 5-6 hours. As this a nude shade, I usually apply a darker lip balm or lip color over it for my pigmented lips. This lip balm glides smoothly on the lips and makes your lips soft and supple. It does feel a bit heavy on your lips if you swipe it more than 2 times.
Pro’s of Lakme Lip Love Lip Care in Vanilla:
- One of the best Vanilla lip balms I have tried till now.
- Makes lips soft and supple.
- Has SPF 15.
- Pretty packaging.
- Keeps lips moisturized for 5-6 hours.
- Glides on smoothly on lips.
- Has a sweet vanilla fragrance.
- Goes completely nude and thus other products can be layered on it easily.
Con’s of Lakme Lip Love Lip Care in Vanilla:
- Feels a bit heavy on lips if swiped more than 2 times.
- Makes dark lips looks horrifying because of the cream tint.
IMBB ratings:
4.25/5
Would I recommend Lakme Lip Love Lip Care in Vanilla?
Yeah. It is quite an affordable lip balm for regular use. It is a good product for people who don’t have very high expectations from non-medicated lip balms as it does its job of moisturizing for quite a time pretty well.
