Hey there ladies,

Today, I am going to review a Lancome product.  I was gifted this pretty-looking roll on deodorant a while back and I am still undecided whether I love it or not.

Price:

Approximately 1,665 for 50 ml.

Ingredients:

Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, AluminiumChlorohydrate, Aqua (Water), Ceteareth-25, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, IodopropynylButylcarbamate, Oryza Sativa Starch, Parfum, PEG-4, PEG-4 Dilaurate, PEG-4 Laurate.

Product Description:

Packaging:

It comes in a small plastic body which is a little shorter than the length of my palm. The cap is screw on and is pale blue in colour with the brand name written on its sides. The whole packaging looks a bit clinical.

My Take on Lancome Bocage Roll On Deodorant:

This is a nice deodorant for use when you want a very subtle, fresh smell in the mornings. It smells faintly of the vetiver plant which is used in various forms in Kerala for its fragrance and cooling properties.  Basically, it is a very powdery/talc kind of fragrance, if you know what I mean. I like this deodorant for days when I know I am going to be mostly in an air conditioned environment. Its too subtle to be used on humid days or days spent outside. So, you can avoid it if you tend to be sweaty; however, it stays the whole day. Yes!!I can smell it on myself even at the end of the day. It doesn’t clash with any other fragrance if you choose to apply a perfume over it.

Pros of Lancome Bocage Roll On Deodorant:

• Sturdy packaging.
• Subtle fresh fragrance.
• Lasts all day.
• Doesn’t cause irritation to underarms.

Cons of Lancome Bocage Roll On Deodorant:

• Price.
• Maybe too subtle for some.
• An anti-perspirant – not a good thing in my opinion.
• Hygienic issues related to the roll-on packaging.

Do I Recommend Lancome Bocage Roll On Deodorant?

This isn’t a must have, especially at this price and I am not too keen on the anti-perspirant bit because it may cause breast cancer. It hasn’t been proved anywhere, but why take a risk, right?).  I would like to try other fresh deos in the market, but I do like the subtle fragrance.
