Remember if told you guys about the Lancome Teint Idole Silky Mat some time back? I have received it for consideration today.  The following information is provided by the PR but the product images are mine. I have also included the swatch of the foundation. The shade is 02, which is one shade lighter than my complexion. I wore it with my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural– Medium Dark and that helped me achieve the exact shade. Will do the review next week because I would be wearing it almost daily now. – Rati Teint Idole Silky Mat : 18h shine-free – Refined pores – Breathable perfection – SPF 16 UNPRECEDENT 18HR HOLD FOR A BREATHABLE NUDE MATITY Lancome Teint Idole Silky Matte Teint Idole Silky Mat heralds the arrival of a new generation of matte foundation. 1. Oh my the price is a bit to high.. but i really don’t mind paying this much for a perfect foundation though dont have the heart to spend huge amounts on lipgloss or eye palettes. I feel if your base is good everything will work out fine.

    1. I agree on this 100% . I go out of my way to spend on foundations. It is so important to have a good base or else nothing would look good.

Have used it twice so can’t say much yet but would review it in the coming week. 🙂

  2. This is super dooper light weight foundation and has surprizingly good coverage. I thought of it like a tinted moisturizer but this is a good coverage foundation. Yup, everything would be ” maaf “for wedding. loll!

  3. OMG OMG I want this. Their description is so very tempting. I fall for anything that claim to refine pores. But sadly there is no Lancome in Chennai. 🙁 . By any chance do you know if it has got Bismuth oxychlorides in it ? ?:-)

    1. To give you a tiny update., I wore it the entire day today, it was so hot that I was even sweating. I wiped my forehead with a tissue and saw that there was no foundation there. 😛 Yet to test fully so can’t brag much. he he

  4. sounds like a good product Rati..

    Eagerly waiting for the review.

Like you said, the base has to be good for any makeup to look good. And its always wise to invest in a good foundation..

  5. Their description of it sounds irresistible! :-)) If only the price sounded as irresistible!

    ♥xx♥

    1. Oh I thought it wouldn’t sound expensive to you since you already use YSL, Benefit etc. which are of similar price or more expensive than Lancome. Strange! 🙂
