After reading Saloni’s review, I bought three LipIce Color lip balms too. I really like her reviews. 🙂 As I have recently fallen in love with plum and mauve shades, I am very excited about these new variants. Today’s review is going to be on the shade “Flirty Mauve”. Let’s get started.

My Experience with LipIce Color Flirty Mauve:

LipIce lip balm comes in cute, printed, paper packaging with a very pretty butterfly on it. Also the printed sparkles indicate its sparkly texture. I really like its outer packaging. The tube has a nice, sparkly silver color and a white cap. But when I opened the cap, the bullet was a little broken. I feel that the immediate packaging of the bullet is not perfect. When I twist it up, it feels loose. But otherwise, it looks cute and travel friendly.

I have the shade “Flirty Mauve”. It is a deep mauve shade with some multi colored shimmer in it. But the shimmer doesn’t look overpowering on the lips; it looks shiny and glossy. It is a perfect wintery lip shade. It suits best on medium to deep skin tones. It has a cool undertone which is good for this season. But, not everyone would prefer this shade. I really like this mauve shade, which sometimes looks berry. As it contains visible mauve shimmers, the balm looks attractive on the lips. This particular shade is really pigmented for a tinted lip balm. One swipe imparts some nice color on the lips. I really like the color payoff.

I absolutely love the texture of this lip balm. It has a smooth, creamy texture which easily glides on the lips. It gives a smooth finish, but layering lead to some chunks on the lips. Otherwise, it gives very soft and smooth lips instantly. It can hide chapped lips easily and provide softness. It never dries out my lips and doesn’t settle into the fine lines. I really like its shiny and glossy texture. It never creases and never stains the lips. It gets easily removed with a wet wipe. As it is a lip balm, it stays on the lips for around only 4 hours. But, it never makes my lips super dry. It also never highlights my dry patches. Plus, it provides UV protection.

As a lip balm, it stays nicely on the lips. The color stays on for almost 4-5 hours without any meal. I need to reapply it after a meal or after 4 hours as it transfers. If the color fades out, still the softness stays. It never makes my lips patchy or dry. Overall, I love love love this LipIce lip balm. This shade looks good on me. I am not very comfortable with such mauve colors on my lips, but this one turned out to be good.

Yes, I will definitely repurchase this range of LipIce color. I love this shade also. If you love this mauve shade too, then definitely give this balm a try.
