Lotus Herbals recently launched their own matte lipsticks range to join the matte lips bandwagon. I bought a lot of shades as I love matte lipsticks. Today’s review will be on the shade ‘Endless Red’. Let’s get into the review now!

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Endless Red Pure Colours Matte Lipstick:
Packaging: The same bland Lotus Herbals packaging of light gold body. The packaging is very boring. The cap fits snugly and with a nice click. The bullet is gold in colour. The shade name and number are on a sticker attached at the bottom. Overall, travel- friendly and compact.
Colour/Pigmentation: Endless Red is a beautiful red shade. It looks really nice and it brightens up my complexion. This shade would look good on many different skin tones. It is nicely pigmented; you just need 2-3 swipes to get a nice shade on the lips.
Texture: This lipstick is the most comfortable matte lipstick. But I must say it isn’t 100% matte. It is kind of like satin matte. Some shades are more matte than others. This goes on very smoothly on the lips and doesn’t dry out the lips even after hours of wear. It has a gel matte texture and not powder matte which is the kind of matte lipsticks I love.
Staying Power: It stays on for 5-6 hours on my lips. It does fade a bit when you eat or drink something. You might need touch ups after every 4 hours. After like about 4 hours, it starts to settle into the fine lines of the lips. To avoid this, you can exfoliate the lips prior to the application. But, this is a very forgiving matte lipstick.
