MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara Gym Dandy Review

It has been really long that I have not done any mascara review. I have recently got two shades from MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara range – 3D Black and Gym Dandy. Today, I am going to share my views on MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara Gym Dandy.

My Experience with MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara Gym Dandy:

The mascara comes is a cute and chubby plastic tube. The mascara comes in two different sizes. I have got the mini one. The size is small and travel friendly. The base of the tube bears a small round sticker indicating the shade name. The mascara closes nicely with a screw on type cap. The shape of the cap is slightly different from regular mascara caps and helps to provide better grip for application. The mascara wand of this mini mascara is not too small and hence it is good to use. The applicator is thick and bushy kind of. It strokes out easily without smearing the upper and lower lash line. Overall, the packaging is nice and I do not find any flaws in it.

MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara Gym Dandy is a royal blue mascara. I am not into colored mascaras much but I totally loved how it turned out on my lashes. It looks extremely pretty on the eyes. The pigmentation of the mascara is amazing. I love the fact that it does not contain any fiber because the fine fibers gets into the eyes and can irritate eyes. This mascara is pretty safe to be used on my sensitive eyes and also a good option for contact lens wearers as well. It does not cause any eye irritation. It is ophthalmologically tested. My sensitive eyes water very easily, and this mascara does not cause any allergies on my sensitive eyes.

In terms of texture, the mascara is a winner. It is neither too thick nor too runny. It has a nice, creamy consistency. It is very smooth in texture. The mascara is definitely a voluminizing one. It curls up the lashes nicely and adds a decent amount of volume to the eyelashes. I did not face any issues like flaking, smearing and smudging with this mascara. It does not make my eyelashes crunchy or too stiff. It is just very comfortable to wear. It clumps my eyelashes with too much layering, but never weighs down eyelashes. I prefer applying two-three coats of the mascara to get the desired effect. The lasting power of this mascara is around 8-10 hours, which is pretty decent. Removing the mascara is not too difficult. It comes off easily with a nice bi-phased makeup remover.
