MAC Fold and Tuck LipGlass (Rs 1040) is one of the three lip glasses from the Pret-a-Papier Collection.
Fold and Tuck is a coraly pink colour with golden flecks in it.
The other two shades are C Thru( flesh-nudish colour) and Pret-a-Papier ( reddish bronze). Fold and Tuck , in my opinion is the prettiest among the three. Also Fold and Tuck is a warm shade that would suit most Indian complexions.
MAC lip glasses come with a regular doe tip applicator and have the signature MAC vanilla fragrance/ flavour to them. They go on evenly on lips and thankfully do not settle in your fine lines.
The lip glasses in general are a little sticky and that makes them last good 2-2 1/2 hours on your lips. They are not the thick sticky kinds that would make your lips stick together ;you won’t feel any uneasiness on lips with these on . The Tuck and Fold lip glass goes on sheer with one application but you can build it up to nice soft coral shade with 2-3 applications.
A lot of lip gloss lovers might fall in love with the shade in particular . The quality of lip gloss is very good and especially I could feel the texture very similar to the Estee Lauder lip glosses. Your lips stay in soft comfortable state with these on.
You can exchange lip glasses in Back 2 MAC exchange policy.
I am not a lip gloss person but for the lip gloss lovers, I think it’s a prettiest pick from MAC Pret -a-Papier lip glass Collection. I would however hunt for a same shade of lipstick. 😛

You look so cute ! Btw… I know this is a post about the gloss….but I just HAVE to know what blush you’re wearing
It’s a Clinique Quick Blush – Peach-in -a pinch
It’s a very pretty peach colour and it suits most Indian complexions. 🙂
I’m absolutely a gloss person and this shade is absolutely gorgeous.. Your make-up is very pretty. Should definitely do a video tutorial
I will do that for sure. 🙂 The shade is actually very pretty. C Thru is too pale and pret-a-papier is too bright from the collection.
need a tutorial on this fresh face 😀
:chic: will wait
without kajal look also looks fab on u
geeee… that’s a super easy look but will do it. 🙂
Thank you. 🙂
waiting for the tut!!! and Rati how r u glowing sooo much these days?? cnt be only the blush and I am not pulling ur leg this time, just asking genuinely
HD, Rima says it’s the humidity. people with dry skin tend to take moisture from the air and that kind of brings glow to the face. 🙂
Other than that there’s nothing else. I promise.
I am wearing the max factor age renew foundation and the clinique blush on my face. And the mac mineralize powder to set it all. that’s it.
You know what? I have started applying mac mineralize powder instead of the loose powder these days and I guess that is giving the glow. I used to wear the same powder (without foundation) every single day to my makeup classes and my colleages used to ask me everyday what was i wearing on my face and the answer used to be the same every day. Now i think it’s the powder that’s doing the trick…. 😕 It does give a little glow to the skin…
I think so…
Or may be I have become better at doing my makeup. :rotfl:
😀 Well cant really be only humidity since Mumbai is more humid than Delhi any day of the year!!
I think its the MAC mineralize powder since thats the only common thing u mentioned abt each day…I think high time I buy something from MAC, but u know I somehow cannot bring myself to spending such a huge amount on a single item…I knw for sure that its worth the price but still I am stuck!!
That powder would last you three years. 😛 The dome just doesn’t finish up. I think I would be stuck with it for way too long. 😛 You want me to review it? he he
3 years!!!!!!!!!! Okay….now I can def buy it without any guilt….review wud be gr8!!
I agree the powder does give a little glow to the skin. I use it too and every time I have it on, I get people asking me if I have done something to my skin…it’s definetly the money’s worth. 🙂
Honestly Rojol, I didn’t realize the worth of mac mineralize until i joined my makeup classes. 😀 My teacher no doubt used to use it in every single demo but then I was getting compliments for no reason. And then I realized oh!! it’s the mineralize powder. Now I love it he he
Now its a like a must have for me! and since it suits u i knw its gonna suit my skin type too
Soon soon. 🙂
rightey. 🙂 next week pakka. 🙂
yes please do a review of it coz i’m thinking of buying one. i don’t like the matte look that these pressed/loose powders give me and i didn’t like the body shop loose powder one bit. the lakme one is really nice but i need something that gives me a sheer glow. the others out there are too shimmery or glittery to be used all over the face. we dry people can’t have enough of dewy complexion, can we? 😀
and trust me HD, the moisture in the air is so therapeutic for me. don’t talk about bombay, it’s always humid as hell there! i don’t think THAT much of moisture really does anything good for the skin! delhi is always dry, whether it’s the extreme heat or the cold. the pores of my face are giving out tiny kisses to the weather. 😛 these days when i go out i can’t help but admire my own skin. then i think of rati. then this blog. then i laugh. 😛
Oh I love TBS loose powder. Haven’t used lakme powder so can’t say . I just remembered your “using rose powder in armpits “. :rotfl:
I’ll do the review next week.
I wish the weather stays the same throughout. We’ll have beautiful skin all year long. 😛
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
You are rite Rima…dont even wanna talk abt mumbai humidity!!!
Sheer glow is what even I like and thats how Rati has been glowing in her pics these days!!
:dazed: Even I am surprised thinking how Rati pics turn out so beautiful……perfect eyebrows….healthy glow on cheeks, well-threaded eyebrows….healthy hair….am I getting jealouss……..no no…. :weep:
The only thing I follow for eyebrows is that I get it done by the same lady all the time and I also tip her. 😛 Now I feel it works. 😛
You’d been busy?:)
You are looking supergorgeous in this pic Rati….hmmm…humidity…MAC….whatever…I hate you dry skin people :alien:
Oh my!! my green woman is back. I missed you so much. 😛 there was no one around to do the corrective makeup. 😛
Brushes please!!! :rotfl:
