2010 had been absolutely fantastic year both in terms of people I have met though IMBB and the boat-load of stuff I have tried this year. It was just an aweeeeesommmmmmmeee year *clapping*. So here is my personal best and worst of 2010 list. I did a small post last year but this year it is pretty long. I don’t have worst products for every category but I do have the best for each. Thankfully this year I have no worst foundations on my list. I have had pretty good experiences with foundation textures and shades.

Worst : Inglot Cream Blush. Didn’t want to put it in the worst category but texture wise, that’s one of my least favourite blush.

Best Drugstore- Colorbar I-Glide Pencils – Prunella, Blackout; Lakme Glide on Eye Color – Warm Copper.
Worst : Lotus Eyeliners- The idea of putting shimmer in an eyeliner was good but the eyeliners as a whole were pretty hard for delicate eyes.

Best Luxury/ Premium : Bobbi Brown Gel Liner Caviar Ink, Clinique Cream Liners
Haven’t tried any drugstore gel liners but Maybelline Gel Liner was quite popular this year.
Eyeliner (Liquid)
I have said bye to liquid liners because I think gel liners are easier to work with. But I liked Lakme Eye Artist a lot this year.
Nail Laquers :

Didn’t experiment much in this area as well . So for face I loved MUFE HD primer. For eyes, it’s got to be MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
Make Up Brushes :
MAC 217, MAC 219 Sigma F 80, Sigma E 25, Sigma E 40, Sigma E 55
Some other things Like MAC Chromagraphic Pencil and Inglot Duraline also became favourites. Just like Revlon Colorburst Peach Lipstick, I have lost count of how many people actually went and bought Inglot Duraline after reading it here. It’s one of my most useful discoveries this year.:D
Skin Care
Face Wash :
Best : Lakme Fruit Blast face Wash Melon Melt, Kama Soap Free Cleanser
Worst : Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser, Lakme Fruit blast Face Wash Berry Lush (hated it for my dry skin)
Lip Balm :
Best : Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm Mango, Maybelline Lip Smooth & Care Tinted Lip Blam Mandarin
Worst : MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner – It’s for Rs 870, stays on my lips for 15 minutes, comes in a pot, and does nothing to my chapped lips. Love the MAC Vanilla smell but totally not worth it.
Face Cream :
Blossom Kochhar Almond Nourishing Lotion, Khadi Rose Moisturiser, Lakme Night Cream
Face Scrub / Packs :

Under Eye Cream

Even I was having problem with my hair and couldn’t get hold of any shampoo that actually suited my hair. But, on a friend’s advice I used this shampoo….and boy-o-boy…it actually suited my hair. Really nice of you to list all this… and extremely nice of you to mention not to take it personally towards the end, because u know what ? A few of your ‘worst’ have worked for me, and i was thinking – yaar is my choice that bad… 😛 Then i realised it might be because of different skin tone n all
loved the list..the maybelline eye liner is fantastic. i tried the lotus kajal but it smudged quite a bit. maybe i didnt know how to apply it..so now i jut apply the eyeliner and top it with grey’ish eye shadow
All kajals smudge and those that don’t smudge are not kajals. :))
