My Experience with MAC Studio Fix 24 Hour Smooth Wear Concealer:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The concealer comes in a long cylindrical tube. The tube comes housed in the signature outer packaging by MAC. The entire product-related information is printed on this cardboard box. The sleek plastic tube packaging is good for carrying around. It has a black screw on cap, which comes with a doe foot applicator. I quite like the concept that the brand has made a tube packaging with a doe-foot applicator. This makes it really easy to use. Overall, the packaging is amazing and travel friendly.

The concealer comes in a wide range of shades. Though, I am NC35 in MAC Fix Fluid Foundation but my closest match in this concealer range is NC38. The shade has right amount of yellowish tone, which makes it really brightening on skin. It is not too yellow nor too beige. I love using this concealer for my under eyes and for spot concealing. I just add some peach corrector along with this concealer to cover my dark circles properly. The concealer has a strong paint-like fragrance, which is extremely bothersome. It will surely bother people with sensitive olfactory senses.

The texture of MAC Studio Fix 24 Hour Smooth Wear Concealer is creamy and thick. It has the right consistency for easy application and blending. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the skin. It is not too heavy but layering too much product makes it feel heavy. It is super easy to blend this concealer. I like blending it more with the brush because that provides better coverage. I sometime blend it using my fingers while spot concealing. It mixes with the skin amazingly and does not look heavy or cakey. It sets to a soft matte finish. It does not look too matte. It gives nice medium to full coverage and hides imperfections pretty well. It is easily buildable and leaves a flawless, natural-looking base.

The concealer helps to create a smoother complexion and I am glad that my skin looks really natural. The concealer is oil free. It does not make my skin greasy. It does not highlight dry patches of the skin either. The color stays fresh all the time. It does not set too quickly, so I get enough time to work with it properly. I am happy that it does not crease once it sets properly. The concealer stays for good 10-12 hours on my skin and that is the longest time I have worn it. So, I cannot comment on 24-hour claim, but still it is really long lasting. Overall, I am really obsessed with this product these days.
