My Experience with Makeup Revolution Euphoria Ultra Strobe Balm:
The strobe balm looks gorgeous in the packaging. I have used this product a lot, hence my balm doesn’t look as beautiful, but “raw, unused balm” looks divine in the packaging. So beautiful that you would not want to even touch it. This plastic packaging comes in a cardboard packaging. It’s a basic packaging but you can use it easily and carry it around as well.
This strobe balm has a cream-to-powder formula. It is easily blendable and sets perfectly on the skin. One has to use their fingers to take and use the product. Just swipe your fingers on the balm and apply on your face. The application is effortless, I must say. It blends like a dream and looks just perfect on the skin.
This shade “Euphoria” is a gorgeous shade. I really cannot express how beautiful this shade is. It looks stunning in the packaging and even gorgeous on my skin tone. This shade is duo chrome; it looks pale pink with a hint of lilac under most lights, but sometimes, it looks rose gold. Can you imagine! I’ve never seen a highlighter shade like this. It contains micro shimmer which does not transfer on your face or look cheap. This shade is well pigmented and will show up well on all skin tones. In face, this shade will look beautiful on all skin tones.
You can easily adjust the intensity of this balm. You can use it with a light hand or heavy, you can use it dry or wet and you can use it under your foundation as a strobing cream or over it as a highlighter. The shade and overall look won’t disappoint you.
But, like most MUR products, this one also has a poor staying power. This brand offers such amazing products, but I feel they really need to work on the staying power of their products. Even with a setting spray or when used wet, this balm does not last more than 3-4 hours on my skin. I don’t know how or why but it just disappears.
Other than this, this is a huge price disparity. On their official website, this balm is available for €6.25 but is sold for over 1000 rupees in India. Overall, I am glad I bought this balm and got to experience its beauty but it is not a must-have. As you must have seen on IMBB, the powder highlighters by this brand are much better and last longer.
