Maybelline keeps launching amazing new products and this time they launched two new matte lipstick ranges: creamy matte and powder matte. Today, I am going to review a shade from the creamy matte range. This range has beautiful shades and its nude shades are especially worth noticing. Touch of Spice is the most popular shade from this range and then there is Nude Nuance. So now, let’s start the review.

My Experience with Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color Nude Nuance:
Packaging:
It comes in the signature Maybelline shape. This range has a pretty, matte mauve cap with a silver base. Again, this range has the same Maybelline packaging and there’s color-coded sticker at the bottom of the tube. I don’t know why Maybelline doesn’t change their packaging ever. All lipsticks look the same and it become quite difficult to find a particular shade. Still, the packaging is travel-friendly. Also, this range is easily available in stores and online.
Shade and Pigmentation:
The creamy matte range has 15 beautiful shades for all skin tones. I picked up Nude Nuance, which is a beautiful nude shade. It is actually a warm, brownish-pink nude shade which looks absolutely gorgeous on my skin. It is a pure nude shade for medium skin tone.
It looks stunning with dark smoky eyes and is also a great MLBB shade for everyone. It doesn’t wash out any skin tone. Also, the shade doesn’t have any shimmers in it and is really well pigmented. Only one to two swipes are required for the perfect color pay off. It can hide lip pigmentation well.
Texture and Quality:
This is a creamy matte lipstick, and yes, it has a super soft and smooth texture that glides easily on the lips. It evenly occupies my lips and feels extremely light. It doesn’t feel patchy or dry on the lips. It never highlights my dry patches either. It has a nice, trendy semi-matte finish which looks beautiful. It is not a 100% matte lipstick yet it is great for those who prefer a non-drying, matte texture.
It feels very comfortable on the lips and is perfect for dry lips, too. It provides a good amount of long-lasting hydration to the lips. But this need time to settle down to a non-transferable texture. Initially it does transfer, but due to its superb pigmentation, the color still stays on the ips perfectly and doesn’t look faded. Once it sets to a perfect matte finish it doesn’t transfer much. One more thing – this lipstick has a nice, sweet scent to it.
Staying Power:
It stays nicely for around 6-7 hours. It can survive a meal but not 100%. It looks slightly fades after a heavy meal but I do not mind since reapplication does not make it patchy. Since it is a nude shade I am really happy with its staying power and also with the fact that it doesn’t look messy on the lips. Also, the shade is easy to remove with a wipe. Also, it never settle into the fine lines and does not crease or bleed.
Overall:
This is such a beautifully formulated lipstick and feels quite good on the lips. I love this shade. I have so many nude lipsticks, and yes, they all are different. So, this is my new favourite shade as it makes me look beautiful.
