Hello all,

My Experience with Nuance Salma Hayek Meadowfoam Seed Leave-In Treatment:
Packaging: The product comes in a simple cream-colored squeezable tube packaging with a flip top cap. The cap shuts tightly and there is no danger of any product leakage. The packaging is sleek and quite travel friendly.
Texture/Fragrance/Results: The first thing that you would notice about this product is the amazing fragrance. Though I cannot place the fragrance, it feels wonderful and continues to linger in the hair for a long time after application.
The product has a creamy texture; it is not too thick and spreads pretty easily through the hair. I apply a little dollop of the cream to towel-dried damp hair and then allow my hair to air dry or user a hair dryer. The cream is quite lightweight and does not weigh down the hair or make it greasy.
This product is touted as a leave-in treatment to rescue damaged hair, prevent breakage, control frizz, seal moisture, prevent sun damage, protect against heat treatment and condition hair. Now, when a product promises so much, you know that you need to take it with a pinch of salt. So, I was prepared to not expect too much when I started using this product and here are my observations:
- The cream does condition the hair well and moisturizes it and makes it tangle-free.
- It does not do a good job of controlling frizz and my hair continues to be frizzy.
- It is difficult to gauge whether the cream protects from sun or heat damage, but in the time that I used it, I continued to use my flat iron and hair dryer and did not notice any adverse effects of heat.
- I did not notice any special protection from hair breakage and I continued to lose hair as I usually do after a shampoo routine.
So, to summarize, I would say this is a product with a wonderful fragrance which conditions the hair well and can be used as a heat protectant, but all the other claims are not totally true.

Cons of Nuance Salma Hayek Meadowfoam Seed Leave-In Treatment:

IMBB Rating:
3/5.
