I am into full summer shopping mood. It had been a long time since I purchased nail paints. This time I chose to purchase some nail paints through the IMBB Sponsorship Scheme. Thanks IMBB team for these little beauties. I chose a few shades from the different ranges of Maybelline Color Show Nail Paints.

Like all other Maybelline nail polishes, these come in the same round shaped glass bottle with a black cap and the shade name is nicely printed on the top of the cap. It is a very simple and travel-friendly bottle. Only the Bright Matte range has a beautiful matte glass bottle which indicates the range actually. It also has a nice wand with a medium size brush applicator. The brush picks a good amount of product and easy to apply on nails.
My Experience with Maybelline Color Show Bright Mattes Nail Paint:
As the name describes, it is a beautiful matte nail polish range which has a smooth medium-thin texture that glides easily and evenly occupies my nails. The formula is perfect and also dries out quickly. It takes around few minutes to dry, but for the best results, I have to wait for around 5-10 minutes. This range has all matte shades and they settle into a beautiful matte texture. We all love the matte finish and these look super trendy on nails.
Also, all the shades are very much pigmented that requires one to two strokes. It can provide good Color pay off with single stroke but for the best smooth even result, I have to put the second stroke on it and it gives the beautiful result. I have picked up two shades from this range.
Lively Rose:
This is a beautiful reddish orange shade that looks super bright on nails. It is more of an orange than red and I love this shade. It looks perfect for summer and carries a nice popping look. It will look best on fair to medium skin tones. But, obviously, if you can carry it, it will look perfect on any skin tone.
Merry Fuchsia:
This is from pink family and it’s a nice pretty pink shade that will suit all skin tones. It is not too bright shade so looks very sober on nails.
These shades last for around 5-6 days and it looks nice on nails for long. But, the matte finish starts to fade after 3 days. Otherwise, it doesn’t chip quickly. But if you work a lot, then it starts to chip from the edges. Otherwise, it survives good and the shades are easy to remove without leaving any stains behind.
Overall:
It is a good matte range and looks pretty on nails as well. I expected more shades from Maybelline. It’s time to bring some different shades.

My Experience with Maybelline Color Show Nail Paints:
I have purchased two nail paints from Maybelline Color show range, Pinkalicious and Hooked on Pink. These are the shades from Maybelline first Color show range.
Pinkalicious:
It is a nice icy pink shade. Even in the single coat, it gives a good colour pay off. I have applied two coats for an even tone look.
Hooked on Pink:
This one is a bright pink shade. It takes a single coat to get its actual colour. It is a perfect summer shade.

My Experience with Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Pop Goes My Heart Nail Paint:
This is my favourite collection from the Maybelline Color Show range. Just like the name all the shades are so funky and cool. I chose the shade Pop goes my heart from it. It is transparent nail paint with Red and white Sequin in it with small white heart stickers. It can be used alone or as a top coat over another nail paint shade.
Here I have used it over Maybelline Color Show Pinkalicious and Hooked on Pink. It is the easiest way to get a nail art at home. But if you want to place little heart at some particular point on your nail, it will be a tough task. You can’t get it right with just applying through the brush.
Pros of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Pop Goes My Heart Nail Paint:
• Gives funky nail art look.
• Nicely pigmented.
• Stays for long.
• Value for money.
• Travel-friendly.
Cons of Maybelline Color Show Go Graffiti Pop Goes My Heart Nail Paint:
• Tough to remove.
• It is difficult to place heart stickers in one particular place.

Yes, I will definitely go for some other shades. I wish Maybelline Bright Mattes introduced some new shades.
