My Experience with Maybelline Fresh Mint Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Lip Balm:
The packaging is simple and cute like regular Baby Lips by Maybelline. The twist up style is definitely preferred over tub packaging any day. The detailing of this variant is in mint green and the cap shuts with a satisfying click. It can be easily carried in the makeup pouch. The price, ingredients are mentioned on the outer packaging.
The texture is smooth and creamy but the glitch here is, it melts when it comes in contact with the lips. A bit of pressure breaks the edges off creating a mess. Also the name suggests it is fresh mint and I was expecting it to feel fresh and nice, but the fragrance was a put-off, as it smelled artificial and too much like camphor.
Though it moisturizes pretty well I disagree to the healing part. It does not heal chapped lips, but it definitely calms and hydrates dry lips. I personally feel it is a pretty average lip balm and there is nothing great about it except the cute white and mint packaging. The regular baby lips are just as good, if not better, so I would not repurchase/recommend it.
