This review is about one of my favorite beauty products – mascara, named Total Temptation from Maybelline.
Read below to find out if it’s tempting or not.

Packaging: Mascara comes in a cute pink tube.
Smell: The product contains coconut extract so, yes it smells of coconut, but it’s a mild fragrance.
My Experience with Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara:
I picked this up from the Maybelline counter in Lifestyle store. It was newly launched and it had its advertisements all over the counter. The cute packaging made me go for it. It is available in 3 colors – Very Black /Blackest Black / Brownish Black. I got the blackest black because that was the only available option at the counter.
The use of coconut was something I was looking forward to. The fragrance of coconut is mild, but you will know it as soon as you open the cap. I had no issues of irritation but this could be a problem for some, because it’s an eye product. The wand is big but comfortable to use. The application is swift and hassle-free. The bristles are hard but that doesn’t really matter to me. The mascara does make the lashes appear longer and fuller but it’s slightly clumpy on the lashes, because the formula is kind of wet. The issue is that it takes longer time to dry unlike other brands. No issues in removing the mascara because it’s washable.
I have been using this from past 2 weeks daily and the staying power is pretty good. So, I guess its basic mascara, good for everyday use and not so heavy on the pocket. However do not expect much from this.
Pros of Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara:
- Makes lashes longer and fuller.
- I prefer the coconut fragrance, but it could be a major issue for fragrance sensitive eyes.
- Good for everyday use.
- Stays for 5-6 hours.
- Readily available.
- Easy to remove.
Cons of Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara:
- Takes longer time to dry.
- Not for sensitive eyes.
- Clumpy formula.

Do I Repurchase/Recommend Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara?
I will not buy this because, I prefer separated neat looking lashes. This one is a little clumpy. I do recommend this as a good drugstore option though.
