- Wet Shine in a classic lipstick.
- New Formula with spring water for the freshest wet shine and sheer color.
- Fresh Moisture for thirsty lips!
- 10 deliciously fresh shades.
What makes this different from the other Water shine variants is that it is made from mineral water. It also has aqua botanicals and vitamin E made to hydrate one’s lips. Also, there is a difference in packaging. The Watershine lipsticks launched prior to this came in pretty pink packaging.
Apply your lipstick by starting in the center of your lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip for a gorgeous wet shine finish.

Some of the shades have been reviewed here on IMBB:
I am reviewing here the shade MF21.
The lipstick comes in a shining silver case/packaging giving mirror-like effect which I really like.

My Verdict on Maybelline Watershine Pure MF 21 Lipstick:
I have used this particular range from Maybelline before, I like it and that’s what made me buy/try another shade. Unlike my previous online purchases, I got this lipstick from the Maybelline counter. I checked all the shades which were available and most of them were sheer. I picked up this shade MF 21 as it was pretty, bright pink and seemed great for upcoming winters and also because I wanted to experiment with a bright colour as I have always worn nude/subtle shades.
The lipstick feels lightweight on the lips and gives a beautiful shine. It renders a lip gloss-like effect to the lips but has no stickiness at all. The lipstick imparts this amazing brilliance to the lips, no wonder the name is water shine. I like the moist effect it gives to my lips.
The lipstick I would say imparts shine, but I didn’t find any obvious glitter or shimmer in these lipsticks, just a glossy shine leaving a gorgeous watery finish. The lipstick glides on very smoothly and has a very light texture which feels weightless on the lips.
I like the dewy finish it gives and this is a perfect lipstick to wear when you don’t want to put too much makeup. Also, these have no funny/cheap fragrance or taste at all which makes me like it even more.
The only sad part about the lipstick is the staying power, these stay on me for not more than 1 hour.
Overall, I like this lipstick for my everyday use and I would recommend these to girlies on a budget like me 😀 This is not a must-have/must-try lipstick if you prefer long-wear lipsticks.
