Namaste fellow bloggers!!
A couple of days ago I did a post about Jordana Black Fabu Liner Liquid Eyeliner, which was a total dud! So, I was sceptic about buying this product from its sister company. But, at the same time, I wanted to give this company a try and also I always wanted a liquid eye liner with a unique grip and bottle. I removed the packaging only after reading good reviews. Read on to find out how it turned out to be.
The technical term for the unusual shape of this liner is “ergonomic.” But we have other ways of describing it. (”Feels great.” “Fits like a glove.” “Changes your life.”) If you’ve ever struggled with liquid before – ever had it skip or smear – you’ll be amazed at how much more control you have in this super smartly designed felt-tip tool. Not to mention the non-feathering, water-resistant formula. Smooth sailing, all the way. Available in the Richest, Deepest Black.
My Experience with Milani Eye Tech Perfection Black Liquid Eye Liner:
I never use liquid eye liner alone because no matter what they have lower pigmentation than a gel or cream liner; however, I do use them to seal liner on my eyelids or kohl on my water line. I learnt this technique after spending loads of money on so called smudge-proof liner which would smudge on my water line after few hours. But, this technique seals my liner in place all day long.
The product comes in a unique bottle which is easy to hold and is perfect for beginners and for all those who get shaky hands while applying eyeliner on lids. The tip of the liner is like a felt tip pen, but is soft to touch and does not bruise sensitive skin. One can achieve multiple looks from the felt tip.
The color is black with matte finish, but is not as intense or opaque as the kohl pencil by the same brand.
One sweep gives a translucent finish hence two to three coats are required to get an opaque finish.
Wear time is at least 6 to 8 hours on lids, but wings do not stay put that long. Flicks get smudged and deformed after an hour or so. Water and sweat remove the top layer and make it look dull. However, a good makeup remover is required to remove it completely. It’s better to use a cream liner or a gel liner underneath to get a more intense black look and also it helps to prolong the wear time.
All those who are clumsy with liquid liners, especially when it comes to drawing wings at the edge of lids can buy this product because it gives an amazing grip and makes the whole process really easy. The only glitch is that it does not give that intense or opaque black look and hence, has to be used in tandem with a cream or gel liner to get the desired look.
Pros of Milani Eye Tech Perfection Black Liquid Eye Liner:
• The grip is very unique and easy to hold.
• Felt tip is firm yet soft to touch.
• Tip can be used at point or angle or horizontally.
• Dries very fast.
• Two to three sweeps give opaque black color.
• Not very expensive.
• Easily available.
• No fragrance.
Cons of Milani Eye Tech Perfection Black Liquid Eye Liner:
• Not completely water proof.
• The black color is not as intense as claimed.
Would I Repurchase Milani Eye Tech Perfection Black Liquid Eye Liner?
Maybe not as I want to try an intense black smudge proof formula. However, it is definitely worth a try.
