Yes, I picked up another Aoud fragrance and I don’t regret the purchase. Montale has been in my wish list for a very long time and now finally, I got my hands on it. Montale fragrances are niche fragrance line and are hard to find and I wanted to try one from the Aoud range. So I picked up “White Aoud”.

Packaging: Montale White Aoud comes housed in a white tin bottle with no cap on it, instead it has a clip that holds between the atomiser and the bottle which prevents it from spraying. The name of the brand and fragrance is printed on the front of the bottle.

My Experience with Montale White Aoud Eau de Parfum Spray:

If you are looking for an oud fragrance that is not too strong and not too mild and has some sweetness to it, then you might like this. “White Aoud” is a very unique and beautiful fragrance that is perfect for both male and female. On first application, there is a very light oud with slight spicy tone and after 30 minutes of application, the fragrance translates into a very beautiful woody and sweet fragrance. As it dries down, there is a very soft creamy sweet woody oud scent which is very unique combo. Generally oud fragrances are very dark and intense, but this particular fragrance is very unique, fresh and beautiful. The sillage is not very strong but very intimate. You can smell it and a person sitting next to you can smell it, but not any further than that.

I generally need 4 sprays of this to make it noticeable on me. The fragrance is more of a day time appropriate and is perfect for both summer and winter seasons. This is a classy, sophisticated and elegant fragrance. Some people prefer very mild and soft fragrance and this is one of them. This lasted for about 9 hours on me. After that I could smell it, but it was very very mild, but I don’t mind that because, I don’t go out for more than 8 to 9 hours and this perfume did the job for me. Yes it is expensive, but it is definitely different than oud’s I have and it’s basically one of its kind and because of the tin packaging, you can travel with it too without fearing of breaking it.
