My Experience with Pond’s White Beauty Pinkish White Cleansing Gel:
The face wash comes in a translucent pink and white colored plastic squeeze tube. The tube has a flip top cap that shuts very securely, making it fit for carrying around. The back of the tube bears the entire necessary product related information. Overall, the packaging is basic, lightweight and travel-friendly.
The face wash is a transparent gel-like liquid. It has a mild floral fragrance, which comes in almost all products of the ‘White Beauty’ range. The smell is mild and not really bothersome. It stays for a very short period of time, so it will certainly not bother people with sensitive noses. It gives an instant feeling of freshness and enhances the mood.
The consistency of the face wash is gel-like. It is neither to thick nor too runny. Its gel formulation spreads easily on the skin and creates a rich lather. But, a good amount is needed to get a rich lather and cleanse my oily skin perfectly. It is easy to rinse off and I need a lot of water to get rid of every bit of this face wash.
It does not leave any greasy residue behind. The face wash has decent cleansing properties. It cleanses my skin and gets rid of every bit of oil and dirt from my face. It gives me a squeaky clean feel. I have combination skin and this face wash removes the excess oil from my skin but it dries out my skin. My skin feels dry and stretchy. So, it needs instant moisturization.
This face wash does not control excess sebum secretion and makes my skin oily after a few hours. The face wash does not help in controlling acne. It does not give brightening or skin lightening effect as it claims. Overall, it is a basic product and does not give any extraordinary results.
