For the past few days, I have been going crazy purchasing products which has shimmer in it. Be it eye liners, eye shadows, nail paints or lipsticks, I have just been grabbing them all. Life is full of glitters now!!
Recently, I saw a TV serial where the actress was wearing a nice coral shimmer lipstick. I could not keep my eyes off her. At that very moment, I decided to get one for myself. Since I already have a coral lipstick(NYX Femme extra creamy), I decided to get a different shade for me.
This review is about MUA #288 Rose Gold Extreme Shimmer Lipstick. I got a light shade as a bold shade would have been too gaudy for me. So read on to know my views on it!

Packaging:
This lipstick comes in a black container with the shade being shown in the upper cap. The cap shuts and open without any difficulty. The black color case contains the name of the brand, the code of the product (288) and color (Rose gold).
Fragrance:
This lipstick has one of the best scent that I have ever come across. I just love its fragrance and I am getting addicted to it. The smell does not tend to stick around for long and goes off after a while.
My Views on MUA #288 Rose Gold Extreme Shimmer Lipstick:
To be precise, I loved it! This is exactly what I was looking for. Loved the color, it is not like those bright colors. The color of this lipstick is somewhat like wine with golden shimmers. Apply an even layer all over the lips. This does not need a gloss over it as it will lose the original texture.
MUA lipstick is pretty hydrating and nicely pigmented. One swipe is enough to impart a good color on your lips but I prefer 2-3 swipes to get that nice color on my lips. This is a very nice shade to be worn at night parties as it will give your lips that desired party look.
The elongated and thin shape of the lipstick(as compared to other lipsticks) makes it very easy to apply and does not get off of your lips. Its shape is perfect for a convenient application.
So, coming to its staying power – It wears off over the day. It faded off after I had my meal and had to re-apply. So, keep a mirror with you to keep applying. However, light shimmer stays on throughout the day.
I am getting so many compliments for this color from my friends. This one is surely keeping me happy! My love for shimmer is just growing & growing! And its scent is just addictive (I sometimes open the lipstick just for its amaazzzing scent)

YES YES YES!!! My search for shimmer lipsticks ends here. I loved this color and shimmer certainly makes me happy! Would recommend it to all those who love shimmer with light colors. Good for those party nights.
