MUA Blusher Shade -2
Hello, namastey and Asalam-ol-aikum to all lovely people connected to IMBB . Some time back, the review of MUA blusher shade-4 by Sonam was published, which reminded me about a forgotten piece of MUA blusher in my stash. After all, I am reviewing this pretty and cute blusher.

Product description:
Part of our amazing £1 line, our blushers come in six shades. They range from pink and coral to deeper plums and natural nudes so you’ll definitely find one that suits you the most! Although to be honest with you, at £1 there’s no reason why you shouldn’t own all six! Just simply sweep across the apples of the cheek and up to the brow bone to create a soft yet beautiful contour. Gorge!

Price:
£1 for 2.4 g of product. Exclusive of shipping & taxes.
Ingredients:
Mica, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, +/- CI 77891, CI 77491, CI77492, CI 77499, CI 15850, CI 19140, CI 16035
My experience with MUA blusher shade-2:
I think I am doing a blush review after quite a breather. Regarding the brand, MUA is a very affordable drugstore brand that mostly has amazing stuff at very affordable price tags. And they have fine varieties in products and shades.
Packaging: This blusher is a cute treat for your cheeks. A tiny 2”x1” size pan, with transparent lid on which MUA is printed which never fades and MUA engraved on the blusher surface. My piece couldn’t survive the shipping process and is damaged a bit, which you can see in the images. The packaging is not sturdy; it breaks if you drop it from a little height even but is definitely travel friendly with caution.
Texture: The texture is smooth and finely milled. In the close-up image, the surface look might make you think it is gritty but that’s not true.
Colour, pigmentation and finish: The color is peachy pink. I can never decide whether it is more of pink or more of peachy because the pan makes it look peachy and the blended swatch reflects pinkish hue. The plus is that MUA website had hand swatches of every shade, which makes your judgment easy about which shade to pick. The shade is non-chalky and blends easily. The pigmentation is ideal because I am always afraid of going over the top and look like an amateur. You need 2-3 swipes to build a decent blush application. After blending, it looks incredibly natural. This shade is a exquisite light peachy pink shade which is perfect for daily wear without being noticed to wear a blusher. It doesn’t contain any shimmer but there is something which makes the shade radiant and the cheeks glow after you have applied it. The blusher has a satin finish. This shade will astound you when paired with light pink and peach lipsticks, best suited for medium and fair complexions. This is a perfect shade for summer.
Longevity: Though this comes from a drugstore brand, but lasts for good 5 hours without primer, which is very satisfactory. It doesn’t clog pores, break me out of crease. Also, it doesn’t enhance my pores or dry patches. The only con I see is the fallout in the pan but nothing on Earth is perfect 😀 Make-up beginners can benefit from this all rounder shade due to controlled pigmentation, versatile shade and price tag.
Pros of MUA blusher shade-2:
• Adorable peachy pink shade with satin finish.
• Trouble-free pigmentation.
• Smooth and soft texture.
• Blending is effortless.
• Tiny travel friendly packaging.
• Does not highlight pores.
• No breakouts or clogged pores.
• Adds a natural and fresh glow to cheeks.
• Will pair with most daily wear lipsticks
• Daily wear shade with natural look.
• Will not drill a hole in your wallet.
Cons of MUA blusher shade-2:
• Some fallout in the pan.
• Brittle packaging.
• Contains Parabens.
• Availability outside UK.but online only.
IMBB Rating:
4.2/5
Will I buy MUA blusher again?
Yes surely whenever they launch more shades because I am a satisfied owner of three shades already. I recommend this one especially to the beginners and for all of you who want MUA stuff but are out of reach, the good news is that MUA delivers worldwide and at times gives total free shipping.
