Chambor Blusher 66 Ambering Rose Review, Swatches

Chambor Blusher #66 Ambering Rose Review and Swatches

“When a girl ceases to blush, she has lost the most powerful charm of her beauty.” Quote by St. Gregory the Great.

It is so truly said about blush and I being a big fan of blushers, totally totally with all my heart couldn’t have agreed more. A blusher is one makeup product that I just can’t ignore to wear. I would prefer to wear a blusher more than any other cosmetic product, and the one blush that tops my list is the one by Chambor – #66 Ambering Rose.

Chambor Ambering Rose

This one is a beautiful peachy rosy color with golden shimmer and has warm undertones and looks fantastic under yellow light. The shimmer is very very subtle and is nothing OTT and imparts a very beautiful warm glow when blended. I personally prefer using it more during winters than summers because of the warm undertones.

My Take on Chambor Blusher #66 Ambering Rose:

The texture is very soft and creamy and it blends like a dream. I sometimes get confused about the exact texture of the product because its not dry like a powder, neither it is like a cream blush, it is somewhere in between. I have not tried mixing it with moisturizer to get a cream blush, and I wouldn’t too, I love it as it is.

It is very pigmented, but doesn’t last very long , 3 to 4 hours maximum and then, I need to do a touch up, maybe because I have very oily skin and the color fades away, may be it will be different for those with dry skin. It is water resistant, but not water proof.

It comes in a classy and neat navy blue case with the Chambor rose imprinted on the casing. I prefer to retain the outer paper box too because then it is easier for me to find it among the various cases without opening each and every box :)), but the brush provided is utterly useless, unless you want to tickle a baby with it , yeah! I do that;)

Pros:

1. Soft texture, easily blendable.
2. Very pigmented.
3. Not very highly priced.
4. Neat packaging.
5. Water resistant.

Cons:

Staying power is not good.

Would I Repurchase:

Yes, if I run out of it, which I doubt will happen soon 😉

My Rating:

4/5 (-1 for staying power)

A must-have for everyone and if you must have only one blush, then this is it !

What is you favorite blush ??

  4. My sister has this in Soft Rose shade. I sometimes use it as an eyeshadow, but hv troubling getting the shade to show on my eyelid. Thanks for the top on using water with it to turn it to cream blush, maybe that will help.
