My honest love for eye shadows always makes a huge hole in my pocket 😀 . I just love to try different types of shadow palettes. Yes, today’s review is based on a purple trio eye shadow from the well known brand MUA Makeup Academy. So, let’s see how the MUA Makeup Academy Professional Trio Eye Shadow in shade Passion, performed.

The packaging is quite cute. It’s a simple round plastic compact, sturdy and travel friendly. It also contains a dual end little brush. It is really nice as one end is normal flat, but the other end is great for lining eyes and highlight the inner eye-corner. The case doesn’t include any mirror in it.

My Experience with MUA Makeup Academy Professional Passion Trio Eye Shadow:

I always wanted to try one of the MUA’s trio shadows. But, the availability was a huge issue. When I saw this online I immediately grabbed it along with other MUA products. Only this shade was available at that time. I received the package in a good condition. The shadow looks adorable in a little compact case :* . It consists of three pretty colours one deep purple, one light purple and one silver highlighter. In this palette, I have numbered the colours (1- light purple, 2- deep purple, 3- silver). All the shades are shimmery, that’s the only downside for me.

The shades are not highly pigmented, you will need 2-3 swipes to show up the colour. These shadows can be used wet also. When used wet, it gives an intense colour pay off. You can definitely use it alone or mix-match it to get a smokey effect to your eyes. The silver colour can be used to highlight your brow-bone and inner eye-corner. I sometimes use the silver highlighter to highlight the bridge of my nose 😀 . I love to apply the shadow wet, to get a perfect intense eye look at parties.

The case also contains a tiny double sided sponge applicator, which is really helpful while travelling. I use the thin sided sponge to highlight my inner eye-corner. The shadow lasts only 2 hours without any primer underneath on my super oily lids. But, with a primer lasts about 5 hours. This eye shadow would look stunning on every girl for sure.
