Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well. Today’s review is about MUA pomegranate lipstick. I bought three shades from mua some time back from Superdrug and since there was black Friday offer going on, I got a cute pom pom key ring free with my purchase. Read on the review to know the details.

My Experience with MUA Pomegranate Lipstick:
Packaging: There is nothing unusual or great about the packaging of this lipstick. It comes in a regular black plastic body which is okayish. Nothing more to be expected from a pound lipstick. The bullet is slant for easy application and the base is sturdy. It has a cute lipstick pot at the base, which can be unscrewed for that extra lipstick. It’s quite interesting. Now this is the only lipstick of all the MUA lipsticks I have, that has come off in my bag. Though, it did not mess up my bag but it is not travel friendly. Strangely, with only this MUA lipstick this has happened. It may be due to a fault in this piece, otherwise none of my MUA lipstick messed up bag.
Texture: The texture is super soft and creamy. It glides smoothly over lips. It’s a moisturizing lipstick that does not dry out my lips. It does not need a lip liner underneath as it won’t bleed.
Shade: The shade pomegranate is a gorgeous dark maroon red shade with hint of pink. It will brighten a dull face instantly. I am not a fan of dark shades but it’s a good pick for a very less price. Pomegranate reminds me of jordana cherry lipstick. Both shades are very close to each other but obviously, formula is different.
Finish and coverage: It has a subtle glaze to it. The finish is perfect and glazy. It gives an opaque finish. It’s creamy so much, that I don’t have to swipe it multiple times because the shade is dark enough, so the color pops out immediately in one swipe. It does not tend to build up on edges of my lips.
It stayed on my lips for about 3+ hours and it did stain. The stain stayed for about 3 hours and faded evenly. It’s a transferable lip color but I really don’t mind this. Let me tell this to people with sensitive nose, that it has a mild fragrance but it’s not bothersome. The fragrance fades in about 5 minutes after application.l
Overall, it’s a decent lipstick that would be loved by people on budget or those who want to try out different shades.
