I have been blessed with oily and acne-prone skin đ Hence I have to be very careful about the kind of a scrub I pick. If the exfoliating beads are too harsh, they are really bad for my acne and act as a catalyst in spreading the germs around on my face. Therefore, I am always on the hunt for finding a good scrub which would give my skin the right amount of exfoliation but is gentle at the same time. I went on to Sephoraâs website and decided to try this smoothing polish from Murad. This brand is very well-known in the skincare arena. So, I kind of knew that this product would work for me. As an icing on the cake, the product did claim to be pore reforming and I wanted a product that would make reduce the appearance of my facial pores. So, let’s get started with the review.

My Experience with Murad Pore Reform Skin Smoothing Polish:
This product comes in a sleek, plastic tube packaging with a snap closure which makes it very travel friendly. It is a clear tube so you can clearly see how much product is left behind. The opening on the cap dispenses the right amount of squirt needed for one-time use and this avoids wastage of product.
The product itself has a thick texture with a very light baby pink color. It is not too harsh and works well in removing the blackheads near my nose area. On my oily and acne-prone skin, I havenât noticed any redness or irritation after using this product. It is gentle enough to be used 2-3 times a week as well. I personally prefer using it while in the shower so that the steam from my bath could open up my pores and the scrub could work even more efficiently and penetrate deeper to unclog the pores. You cannot notice any exfoliating beads in the tube, but you can feel them on your skin.

Overall, I am happy with this product as it is neither overly gritty nor too gentle. It does make my skin feel smooth but I havenât noticed any pore-reforming characteristics. So, I would recommend this scrub to you.
