I thought I’d share some of my favourite body care products. I have pretty dry skin that gets drier as the weather gets colder. So I always go for super rich body care lotions and even oils.
Here are my 4 favourites. I would LOVVVEEEE to hear about your winter skin care favs as well. Please share them in the comments below. 🙂
Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil Bengal Tuberose : I have recently started using it. It’s good so far but I’d out a detailed review of this next week. i use it post shower and it keeps my skin hydrated all day long.
Sephora All in one Nourishing Oil : It’s almost like a dry oil and is not as rich and nourishing as all the products in the list but it comes in really handy when you want to add that little glow to your arms and legs without really soiling your clothes.
Vaseline Cocoa Glow : I keep this handy all the time. I have made a habit of moisturising my hands and feet while watching TV at night and this is what I use. I used Lotus vanilla moisturising lotion last year and that was also quite nice.
Kama Kokum and Almond Body Butter : I recently got this. It is suuuper rich body butter . Yet to form an opinion about it but so far liking it.

Since I have normal skin on the body n stay in a humid city Mumbai, I find it very difficult to use such awesome soundly lotions n butters… soo I prefer using something lighter like Himalayas aloe body lotion n the body shops moringa body lotion in winters… at night though I have been loving the body shop shea lotion a lot lately… as for during the day I have been using the kronokar body lotions…
never tried himalya body lotions. must give them a try 🙂
hi Rati, i was waiting for such kind of post from you :P, please do share your updated skin care regime as well. and i also love vaselline cocoa lotion, the smell is really tempting, and i also use The Body Shop Cocoa butter and Honeymania Body Butter. i haven’t tried any other extra rich body lotion yet.
P.S. TBS is running flat 50% on body butters, i going soon to grab a new one. you go girs. 🙂

hey Rati… i love your list.. i hav a very combination skin.. which gets dry in winters and remains normal in summers.. in winters i usually use body butter for my legs.. body shop body butters work well for my legs.. and for remaining body i use body lotion like vasliene cocoa or nivea or johnson and johnsons… sometimes i massage a mixture of olive oil and almond oil in night which makes my skin super soft and glowy in the morning… much love.. :*

I don’t get very dry except for my horrible feet. I love body lotions though and have one with me all the time and apply it enough times during the day. That might explain why I don’t feel or see the dryness hahahhaa. nice list of products Rati.

I love the Vaseline Cocoa Glow too. I always have the bottle beside my bedside. I have very dry skin and my hands need constant moisturisation. Thinking of buying the Garnier Body Cocoon too. I heard that it is very good for dry skin.

Mine is normal to dry skin and my favourite picks are St. Ives Coconut body lotion, H20 cucumber body balm, Molten brown pink pepperpod 🙂 i loved the smell so natural and fresh 🙂

Im loving Soap and Glory flake away and righteous butter !! I Love applying Olive oil everytime before shower during winters !!! Also loving Tbs Blueberry lotion a lot !!!! I loveeed ur list , especially the cocoa glow lotion is amazing , Really wanna try the Sephora oil 🙂

Vaseline has been my body lotion since ages and cocoa one is my fav 🙂 My skin loves it as well as oils esp when used in oil cleansing.

Even I’ve got dry skin, which gets drier in winters… 🙁 I liked Vaseline, but I looove TBS Cocoa butter… At night I apply a mix of glycerin with FabIndia rose water all over. It reeli helps… 🙂
What a tempting list! 😀 I am also currently using Vaseline Cocoa Glow ♥ I love the fragrance! *_* And BBW Carried Away is something I use when I have to go out and at the same time not feel sticky 😛 Carried Away smells heavenly! 😀
