My Experience with Naturals by Watsons Prestige Rose Lip Balm:

Let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. The lip balm comes in a normal cardboard packaging. The entire product-related information comes printed at the back of this outer packet. The lip balm tube is baby pink in color with a dark pink colored cap. The packaging is very basic and easy to carry. The small lip balm tube fits in my pocket and clutch easily. The lip balm tube comes up with a simple twist-up mechanism, which works pretty smoothly. It has a plastic cap which shuts nicely with a satisfactory click sound and makes the tube fit for carrying around.

This is a normal non-tinted lip balm. There is no color or shimmer in it. I always prefer to wear a clear lip balm before applying lipstick so that my original color of my lipstick shows through. I do not want my lip balm to interfere with the original color of the lipstick. It has a slight glossy finish, which settles down later on and my lips does not look too shiny. The lip balm has a mild rose fragrance, which is not too strong or bothering, but I did not find the smell to be really refreshing or soothing. The lip balm does not have any kind of taste to it.

The texture of the lip balm is a tad bit harder and not as smooth as the other lip balms from Watsons. I have used the argan oil lip balm and collagen lip balm from the brand and they have a nice and smooth formula, but this variant is not smooth and causes tugging and pulling of the lips. The texture is thick and feels quite heavy on the lips.

It is neither too sticky nor absolutely non sticky, so it feels kind of comfortable on the lips. The formula is moisturizing. The lip balm deposits a thick heavy layer on the lips with one swipe and keeps the lips moisturized and nourished. It makes my lips soft and smooth. I have normal lips these days and this lip balm is keeping my lips properly hydrated. It conditions the lips really well and makes them look healthy. It is suitable for normal dry lips but it may not work that well on extremely dry and flaky lips. The lip balm does not come with any SPF, which limits its use to indoors only.

The lasting power of the lip balm is somewhere around 4-5 hours on my lips without any eating or drinking. Though it loses its glossy sheen, it keeps my lips moisturized for long, but it requires reapplication after meals.
