Here is some of the new stuff I got from MAC and Inglot today. 🙂
I finally bought the MAC Palette but bought only 3 eye shadows as of now. It was very confusing to select the right shades so I decided to pick only 3 shades that I liked the most.
MAC Carbon Eye Shadow : I didn’t have a decent matte black eye shadow so I picked up MAC Carbon eye shadow. Honestly i liked typographic more but the SAs suggested that i buy Carbon is I got this. I am liking it. 🙂
MAC Soft Brown Eye Shadow : This is an everyday colour and wow! when I applied a wash of it on my eyes, I looked more awake. This eye shadow just brightened up my face. 🙂
MAC Twinks : It’s a beautiful plummish brown colour with golden sheen to it. As soon as I saw it I knew I have to have it.

MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner (Rs 870): I tried 3 shades – Petting Pink (looked pale on me ), Gentle Coral ( too orangey, can’t use for every day) and fuchsia fix. Fuchsia fix looked nice and bright on me so i picked this one up. 🙂
MAC LipGlass in Subtle Romance : It’a a pale lavender colour with fuchsia pink shimmer. It’s a part of the new MAC Fabulous Felines Collection.
MAC Eyeshadow in Sassy Grass : It’s a part of MAC dare to Wear Collection. Which colour would you pair this eyeshadow with?
It’s a matte grass green eye shadow
Superslick Liquid Eyeliner in Nocturnal (Rs 1100). OMG! I fell in love with these liquid liners. These are a part of Fabulous Feline collection. Awesome pigment and go on smoothly .
Inglot Duraline (Rs 490): This was long due. This is a magic potion for your dried up gel liners. You just mix duraline with your dry gel liner and your liner would be back to new again. You can also mix duraline with eye shadows and you can use your eye shadows as eyeliners. 🙂
It comes with a eye drop kind of cap. You press the little black button on the top of the cap and use the liquid as per your requirement. 🙂
Sassy Green eyeshadow and subtle romance lipglass sent by company for consideration.

I read an awesome tip for gel liners..store them upside down..they wont dry up at all..try it , it works 😀
You know the inglot liner was super pigmented so it dried up very fast and then the clinique liner also kinda…grrr… So I bought it.Try out soft brown. I was finding it okayish until I tried it.
er…store them upside down?? Like when i open the liners I put them upside down to prevent them from drying up. But how does storing upside down help?
And how and where have you been. Working working? I was thinking of knocking knocking. 😛
Yeah have been busy busy..been wanting to review so many items..but just dont have the time 🙁 Yeah wherever you store you gel liners , place them cap side down. What it does is that , it brings out the moisture in it to the surface (gravity ?!! 🙂 ) hence preventing them from drying up.
I am wondering if soft brown will show up on me though..

Actually soft brown is not a “shows up” kind of a shade. It’s just a wash of colour that just brightens up your eye lids. You can wear it every single day with just a black or brown eye liner. I suddenly looked awake as soon as it went on my lids. DO try it. If not, I am sure there must be a similar shade for your skintone as well. 🙂

You can just add a drop of duraline in the liner , mix it with brush and apply it. What I am going to do is that I am going to scrape some liner with a plastic spoon. add half a drop of duraline and apply it.
Same with eyeshadows. Scrape a little eyeshadow on a palette or something, add half a drop of duraline, mix with brush and use it. I’ll do a demo post in a few days. The more the duraline, the less the inensity of colour.

Lip Pot – Inglot Lip Paint is the only lipstick in a pot that I know of as of now.
And MAC tinted lip conditioner is a tinted lip balm in a pot form.

You would be able to find good brown liners in both mac and inglot. Inglot one dries a little faster. Maybelline also has a gel liner but they have it only in black shade.

Sassy Grass is soooo…well Sassy. I’d probably wear it as a liner, not sassy enough for it 😛
Keep us updating on your “paletting” I personally prefer palettes, but find it hard to narrow down on a few shades.
Also this is kinda random but I’ve always wanted to know if the SA’s at MAC, Inglot etc. recognize you from on here. :dance:

As a part of u’r haul u featured ‘Sassy Green’. Did u buy it or get it as part of a PR kit? When i went to my local MAC store, i was told that the Dare to Wear collection launches only next week…so couldn’t even swatch it. Just wondering if my MAC store had the launch dates mixed-up?
