Today’s review is about Nivea Cream Care Silky Skin Mousse Body Wash. I am reviewing a very different and a new product from Nivea today. It’s a mousse body wash. This is my first mousse product and I was totally excited to try and use it. This mousse comes in 3 variants. I have got another one too; its review will follow up soon. 🙂

My Experience with Nivea Cream Care Silky Skin Mousse Body Wash:
The packaging is sleek and resembles a deo spray container. It has a typical Nivea blue color on the outside. It has a transparent cap on top which opens and closes easily. The cap clicks in making sure there is no accidental opening. So it’s very safe to travel with. The top of the container has a broad dispenser.
You are required to shake the container before every usage. The container is metal and opaque. The new bottle feels heavy giving a feeling that there is lot of product inside. It’s not possible to know the amount of product inside. I really hate it when I don’t see what’s happening inside or how much of the product is remaining. I don’t prefer to take such products during travels since you never know when it will get over.
The mousse is white and creamy in texture. The fragrance is the typical Nivea smell. I like it and have no complaints about it. The fragrance is very mild and is not overpowering. The first time I used the product it reminded me of a shaving cream which my husband uses. I also had a lot of foam on my palm the first time I tried using it. I had no idea how much would be required. I applied the mousse on wet skin. I expected it to froth like any normal body wash, but I was wrong. All the foam disappeared and I sprayed more mousse.
I spread it all over my body, rubbed the mousse and washed it away with water. I saw that it washed away very easily. The thing I noticed was that I needed lesser water compared to other body washes. After washing, my skin didn’t feel all that clean. I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s actually like that. I am not used to using mousse formulas. My skin felt a little dry but smooth. The fragrance hardly lasted on the skin. Overall, it’s not very great but one can give it a try for the experience.
