My Experience with Nivea In-Shower Wash Cream and Makeup Remover:
When I saw the ad on the TV stating no more “panda eyes” and no need of extra makeup remover, I was thrilled to buy and use the product. It’s easier and exciting to wear makeup than to remove it. That’s what I feel! But, at the end of the day you are so exhausted that you just want to simply wash your face and go to bed. This product looked like a dream come true as per the advertisement.
Couldn’t wait to buy the product and test it. Here are the results of it!
I washed my face in the evening and looked into the mirror and guess what I saw!
2 PANDA EYES!!!
I mostly use water soluble eye make since I wear contact lenses and have been advised not to use waterproof eye makeup. Wanted to give the product another chance and washed my face again using the product, but my face didn’t look any better. I was so disappointed with the results. I wonder if they ever tested the product before releasing it in the market. The consistency of the product is thick. It does spread well on the wet skin. But, getting it out of the tube is a pain.
The packaging is not good. The bottle or tube is kind of round and it’s kind of hard plastic. It’s difficult to get the product out. You need to squeeze it quite hard. Then, it drops a dollop of product on your hand. It’s not possible to control the amount you want to be dispensed. Also, it leaves the face kind of oily by the end of usage.
Final Verdict: It cannot be used as a makeup remover, as claimed. Can be used as a normal face wash when you have absolutely no make up on though.
Pros of Nivea In-Shower Wash Cream and Makeup Remover:
• Very mild (suitable for super sensitive skin without makeup)
Cons of Nivea In-Shower Wash Cream and Makeup Remover:
• Packaging isn’t good
• Doesn’t remove makeup completely
• Need to use makeup remover even after using the product
• Hard to squeeze the product out
• Hard/impossible to empty the bottle without cutting it open
