My Experience with NYX Pink Cloud Whipped Lip and Cheek Souffle:

The soufflé comes in a small sturdy plastic bottle. The packaging has the description and ingredients list mentioned on it. This small bottle has a large screw on type cap with an applicator. The applicator is soft and quite different from those doe foot applicators. The wand is small but I find it quite fit to apply the product on the lips and cheeks. The color-coded body makes this soufflé easy to spot in the makeup stash. It has a sticker at its base mentioning the shade name. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly.

The shade “Pink Cloud” is a light baby pink shade. It is not a flattering shade for my skin tone if I use it as a lip color. It washes me out badly. But, it looks really subtle and natural on the cheeks. The shade is too light and will suit extremely fair skin tones only, and it will wash out almost every kind of Indian skin tone. The soufflé is absolutely free from any shimmers. The formula has an average pigmentation. It requires multiple swipes to build up the color perfectly. This one also gives a streaky finish like other variants, which can be corrected by layering. It gets difficult to hide pigmented lips. The soufflé sets to a gorgeous velvety finish.

Overall, it fails to be used as a lip color for me. But, it works amazing as a blush for fairer skin tones. It gives a nice flush of color to the cheeks. It looks very natural and subtle on the cheeks. So, it can be easily used for daily use. The pigmentation is average, so a good amount is required to show the color on my cheeks. The soufflé has a typical candy like fragrance, which might be bothering for some.

I have already mentioned about the texture of these soufflé in my previous reviews. I have fallen in love with the texture. It is so soft and smooth. It is so lightweight and feels like a whipped cream. The smooth texture of the product makes it glide on the lips like a dream. Though the texture is definitely very comfortable, this soufflé does not forgive any dryness of the lips and highlights it badly. So, it is mandatory to exfoliate and nourish the lips well before application. The soufflé feels very moisturizing on the lips but it does nothing to keep the lips hydrated.

It looks great as a lip color but this shade is a total fail for Indian skin tones. It does not bleed or smudge at all. The texture is creamy that makes the product transfer easily. The soufflé blends amazingly on the cheeks. It does not require any blending tool or anything; just my fingers are good enough to do the job. This has become possible with the lovely texture of this product. It sets to a nice velvety finish with a little sheen. The soufflé lasts for some 5 hours or so on my lips. But, it gets wiped off completely after a meal and I have noticed that the color settles into the fine lines of the lips. On the other hand, the soufflé lasts for 5-6 hours on my cheeks easily. This can be enhanced with a face primer underneath. Overall, I love using this shade as a blush. But, it does not suit me as a lip color.
