Olay regenerist targeted tone enhancer review:
The best part about Olay regenerist is:
No Hydroquinone. No Kojic Acid. No Licorice or Bearberry Extract.
Even though it is a target tone enhancer.
However, very high on the ingredient list (#3 after Water and Glycerine) is Niacinimide (Vitamin B3). According to Dr. Zoe Diana Draelos, noted ant aging dermatologist and author of the textbook “Cosmetics in Dermatology”, Niacinimide has several skin ant aging effects.
Niacinimide suppresses UVB damage enhances anti-cancer properties of keratinocytes (the cells which produce new skin cells) and is an exfoliating agent.
So Niacinimide acts in three positive ways: exfoliating dead surface cells; protecting from future UVB damage; and promoting the production of healthy new cells.
In Dr. Draelos’ opinion, “Many new, lesser known vitamins may become part of topical formulations in the future.”
Olay says, “Olay Regenerist Targeted Tone Enhancer uses an exclusive amino-peptide complex combined with Pro-Retinol to renew the outer layer of your skin for a more youthful brightness. It allows you to target damaged cells to diminish the appearance of age spots and discoloration without drastic measures.”
I got this Olay 1 oz tube about a year back. I got a lot of Olay products from eBay for my maa, and this was a part of it. It included a lot of products from the Olay regenerist range.
I have been using this for the past 2 weeks to review it .My maa used it earlier but she had no proper verdict about it so I wanted to try it myself.
This product even though it has fascinating ingredients did nothing for my skin at all. It is non greasy and non oily but it is just a waste. Neither did it work on my hyperpigemenetation nor on my acne scars.
2 weeks and I have noticed no evening out on my skin and nothing else. I have deep red scars of acne on my skin and an uneven skin tone .if anyone of you has trying that would help diminish those and work on both red and brown marks please comment below and help me out.
I am totally sick of these stubborn spots.
Getting back to the cream it does not resolve any issue and it was even expensive for the price it came.25 dollars.
And it has been a waste.
