Outfit of the Day: Pretty as a Peach
I deserve to be spanked for my laziness. I was occupied with work, but I could have definitely made some time to prepare the posts for which we had shot long back. Since a few had been pending, we were avoiding clicking for any new ones. I hope I am able to get the posts up soon. At this point, I NEED to salute Rati for putting up the amazing posts that she does, even while on dreamy vacations. Kudos! Seriously!
Today, I and Anju have for you an outfit that is very ethereal yet undemanding. The inspiration for this outfit was the beautiful peach sheer maxi skirt. When we were initially trying to pair it with something, we had definitely not imagined zeroing in on a plain white shirt. Well, it is all about experimentation, isn’t it?
We wanted to keep the accessories in sync with the subtle outfit and so we adorned it with a dainty neck piece set in amethyst and blue topaz. Rest is all basic 🙂
I was reading a blogpost by one of my friends which says that she hates being called a “lady” because as “lady” as they say, is a refined woman, which she claims she is not. While I do agree with her on the fact that we are not the most perfect in our appearances or in our behaviors at all times and that we are all independent women and do not necessarily need to be treated like we are the fairer sex, I don’t know how else to address you all lovely ladies. Oh there I say it again. I think I like it. Not because I am forever refined as a lady should be, but just being called one gives me the feel of being one, which I don’t mind. I realize I have completely digressed here 😛
