My Experience with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Ultra Moisturizing Lip Balm Dark Chocolate and Mint SPF 15:
Packaging: This lip balm comes in a simple plastic packaging. It has a twist-up mechanism. The packaging is very sleek and convenient to use and carry as well. This is the Dark Chocolate and Mint variant and its packaging has white and green accents. The twist-up mechanism works fine and the lip balm goes down completely. Overall, full points on packaging as it’s quite handy.
Talking about my experience, this lip balm comes with added bonuses. Firstly, it comes in three variants. Apart from this variant, the other two variants are Original and Dark Chocolate and Cherry. I picked up the Dark Chocolate and Mint variant as I am a huge chocoholic. Secondly, this lip balm has SPF-15, which helps to protect your delicate lips from harsh sun damage.
Finally, the application is very smooth and also pretty hygienic as you don’t have to apply it with your finger. The balm is clear and doesn’t give any color to the lips. It just provides a nice sheen to the lips. It is very smooth to apply. The formula is quite light on the lips.
This lip balm does a very good job at keeping the moisture locked in and also lasts for a good few hours before needing to reapply. It tingles a bit upon application which is quite soothing. The best thing about the product is that, although it gives your skin a lot of moisture, it doesn’t leave you with that shiny greasy feeling that some lip balms do. It has a mild scent of chocolate and mint, which in no way is overpowering.
